Anyone been successful in the ballot for Ashes tickets?

I got an email to say I hadn't been.

How much are ticket prices usually for these games?

£90 days 1-3 at Headingley. London ones will be above a ton I’m sure.

That’s in the “cheap” seats at Headingley too.

Horrible news for Topley. All of those stress fractures and setbacks, he finally forces his way into the XI and rolls his ankle. How unlucky can you actually get.

Big loss for us too. As his Dad pointed out on Twitter, an exceptional bowler in the powerplay, middle overs and at the death.

Not had email yet.

Usually £80ish minimum at a London ground.

Approx £50 minimum elsewhere?

Col Ackermann just got his second duck in a row for Netherlands. Looks like they’re heading out despite winning their first two games.

Two sides go through each group, so if they lose, it would still need Namibia to win (although I imagine they will) think net run rate is against the Netherlands as well.

Managed to get into the second buying window for Headingley. Some are saying the prices could be barking this year.

£112.50 for Edgbaston. Couldn’t get in the Hollies.

Yeah managed to get some for day 2 at Edgbaston. Ours were £112.50 but you’re looking at a minimum £85….

When I saw the prices for next Summer, I shied away and plumped for England Womens international T20 tickets instead.

I shelled out earlier this year for tickets at Lords - £140 each, on the basis I had never been to Lords - but the game's gone absolutely nuts, charging those prices.

Bonkers mate.

It’s crazy indeed.

An elite sporting event for me, so don’t mind paying it.
