For what it's worth, I think it is surprising they came out so quickly after the rain.

As good a pick up and throw, he wouldn’t have been runout without slipping. Farcical. There’s going to be questions asked about how quickly they came back.

Which Rahul can do nothing about? He's thrown it as accurately as he can and nailed it :dunno:

Wonder of many of the India camp where in the umpires room during the delay....sickening

None by looks of it considering umpires were out on the pitch most of the time, as were the team...

I don’t think anyones criticising Rahul, it’s the fact that they’re out there in clearly unsuitable conditions. The cynic would assume that there was a certain amount of pressure to get the game completed on the best possible terms for India.

Have to give a lot of credit to Bangladesh for making it such a close game. Was nervy towards the end! Das was brilliant with his hitting.

Arshdeep proving to be a good death bowler in the absence of Bumrah.

India have played within the rules 100%. The tournament is better with India in it.

Did the BCCI subjugate your account?

It’s only better if they’re in it on merit or else that’s corruption.

Better for the dollars, pounds and rupees, certainly.

Better for the sport itself? As per above, depends on merit.

It's bad enough for the Zimbabwe lad Shumba that it happened, was televised and is online forever, but then the BBC put the story with a picture on their front page:

And now I've gone and drawn further attention to it, so I'm just as bad.

What a comeback from Pakistan. Entertaining regardless! 43-4 to 177-5 at one stage.

Brilliant hitting and a couple of very good catches given the conditions.

Great effort from Afghanistan. Especially Rashid at the end.

Only 4 runs short!

Any maths geniuses out there?

After the result, you'll be fine as long as you win!

It was around 100-110 (a net gain of 50ish runs plus a buffer). Obviously that didn't happen, so any win will do.

England doing a good job of limiting scoring after Sri Lanka set off very strongly.

Probably somewhere between 150-160 to chase which you'd fancy England to do given these conditions.
