Definitely not generational. Plenty of young fans, myself included, that just want to win trophies.

 

Sad that some people just want to finish top 4 but that's the state of the game nowadays. Corrupted people into taking money over trophies.

and some would argue that the 'big 6' are serious competitors for the domestic trophies year after year partly due to the Champions League funds making them stronger in the long term. So it's not the black and white simplistic idealistic argument that some want it to be.
