Cracking game, fee for Austria they really went for it and deserved more in all fairness. Italy just have that knack, wouldn’t be surprised to see them in the final.

Austria deserve a lot of praise for tonight. Really pushed Italy and probably just ran out of steam compared to the quality Italy could bring off their bench. Unlucky tonight.

Austra showed Italy is not unbeaten , and they have given some chances to Austria .. Other teams could be much better clinical finishing against them than Austria. Their forwards shoot over the bar for a few times. .

But of course Italy deserve to be respected  as  very good team indeed but they could be defeated with fast counter attacks..

Went to this game. Have to jump through Covid hoops to get into the Stadium. Stewards outside were very efficent but Covid "rules" almost totally ignored once inside. Hope the restrictions work otherwise increased capacity and events like Silverstone might not end well. Nevertheless, hope to be back for the semi if Italy get there.

I'm sorry, but I'm not sure Gareth can easily understand this tactic. Look say him plese , When they attacking , England midfield take the ball and give quickly to Sterling. Sterling will run  from right wing and give the ball Kane immediately ..

 

England is favorite and will gain the cup .. Southgate will be known as Sir Stargate since this event ..
