they withstood the Italian offensive power very well. But did not create options offensively. It was also wrong for them to persistently throw air balls .

Tournaments are difficult to judge. 

 

Some teams grow in to a tournament, like Spain in 2010, others peak too early, like the Netherlands in 2014, when they beat Spain 5-1.
