Read his statement last night, think he's having his operation today and then taking a few weeks away from management although still be involved/talking with his staff.

He looks nails. Hopefully he can kick it into touch. 
 

Always liked him here, and part of me wanted to get a crack as manager on a perm basis, but fully understand wanting someone with more experience etc. But he’s always demonstrated he’s a very competent manager.

It’s the potential spread that’s the main thing. Let’s hope it’s isolated in a testis and hasn't spread.

Absolutely, that would be the critical thing. Is it likely that he knows about that already? He does seem quite positive about his post-op plans, so I hope that is the case.
