Yep. The start of the game was rewarding trying to play actual football and breaking people down. Now every man and his dog has 10 men behind the ball.

 

Saying that, I've started to do it after going a goal up. Then overload side balls for Mane and Salah... you get the hate messages but live by the sword.. die by it?

I like playing decent football, using clever passing and skills to beat an opponent.

 

At the start of the game, I felt you could win using different styles of play, and you would come up against players playing different styles. Now everyone sits in and plays on the counter. 

 

I play people, and at the end of the game, they have played only 60 passes on the stats. They generally win the ball, play one pass forward, and try to get a shot in.

 

I enjoyed the gameplay at the start, but with each patch, it seems to worsen. 

 

I was in Elite Div before the season refreshed, but I can't be bothered to play rivals to work my way back up as I don't enjoy the games. 

 

Spend most of my time grinding SBC at the moment or in Silver Lounge 

I often wonder if the game developers ever watch football.

Fully agree mate. 

 

I've always played possession football and felt previous fifa didn't reward good play now its gone back to the same thing again. 

 

Plus keepers catch everything going this year which is annoying. I mentioned it previously. Last year they came and punched everything now they catch everything. Have some middle ground ffs.

Me too, I like to pass it around.

 

I find it more reward to score nice goals.

Overmars from that list, but honestly alot of baby icons and even some prime icons aren't even that good!

yup using him at minute 

 

although just done the sbc for that french kid insane stats for a striker but difficult to link , i might just go whole french for some fun .

 

played a guy who already had all the foundation cards from same league as macintosh    got spanked

At worse they both give you 84 x 3, 85 x 3,  86 x 2 for fodder for free and a couple of packs.

I've done all the Eredivisie players and onto the Liga Nos ones now. Got about 7 squad battles to go (by far the worst bit!) and then onto the friendlies. Should be done in about 20 more hours of gameplay!

 

Not entirely sure why I'm doing them. Thought they could be useful for Icon Swaps and a bit of fodder. The Openda card is pretty decent to be fair but hard to link.

Done all the friendlies and now doing squad battles.

 

Friendlies took me between 1-2 hours to do both

 

Squad battles is draining how to spilt that up and do a bit now and again.

What is you current team? 

 

With all the Milestone players load of quick ways to upgrade you team for free.

 

Maybe able to give you some tips to improve it.

Are they all just standard cold cards?

 

Your back 4 lacks pace. It would help if you looked at upgrading them. How many coins do you have?

 

Also, it would help if you had a proper DM with high pace and defensive stats. 

 

Grinding the milestone players is a great way to buff your team if you have no coins or little coins. For example, Lowe (LB) and Davies CB (Championship Millstones) loads better the Shaw and Maguire and Laurent, who an excellent DM. They are all English too, so easy to get on chem.

 

Or there is the Soares (LB) and Concalo (CB) from Liga Nos, both  Portuguese and link to your Fernandes

 

They are all free. All you have to do is complete some objectives in squad battles. 

 

Just takes a bit of grinding in squad battles.

Yeah just standard golds, did a few SBC’s today and got TOTW Sarr and TOTW Martinez, so getting there!

 

I do agree about the slow CBs, Maguire gets beaten by every through ball imaginable.

Has anybody experienced a bug where your rivals progress doesn’t update after a game? Just got a win with the streak multiplier on and I’m in the same position I was before the game.

Yup took a couple of games later to right itself

I brought rodrygo blue card as he will get an increase soon so i can make some profit 

 

I also have militao and by playing natale as a cam i can fit messi on the rw all with full chem
