People sweat objectives, trade or buy FIFA points. 

 

The easiest way if you don't want to do the last two is to sweat objectives.

 

Silver Beasts, for example, give you a free Rare Mega for winning games in Silver Stars which you can do with a cheap silver team. 
 
A few weeks back, completing Knockout King and European Euphoria, for example, giving you a free Megapack and Rare player pack, all untradeable. But you can cycle any players you don't want through marquee matches to get tradable packs.

 

Doing all the objectives for XP and completing season 1 gives you access to 11 free packs and a player. 

 

Lot of ways you can build a team by doing objectives for free pack and players. 

 

Use the low rated players in other SBC to get more packs and keep recycling them until you get higher rated fodder players. Save the higher rated ones to do player SBC of players you want.

Good advice again! I’ve been going through as many SBC as I can, I just seem to run out of suitable cards pretty quickly.

 

It’s essentially just a grind then? Doing as many of the Objectives and SBCs as you can.

 

I will stick at it, but **** me is it frustrating where I’m at currently!

This is exactly what I said would happen! Such a ridiculous thing to have in the game… limiting people from having the ability to play every game mode will only see the game die a lot sooner

If you're not going to trade, you need to maximise the free packs and cards from objectives and SBCs like marque matchups etc, to top up any rewards you get from Div rivals, Play-offs and Fut Champs. 

 

Do everything you can. 

 

Anything you pack worth coins tradeable sell, any low rated non-tradeable keep for SBC for packs.

 

Anything 82 plus non-tradeable keep for when you come across a player SBC you want to do. 

 

For example, you could have grind a free rulebreaker Antonio (84), Fellaini (85), use them in your team or stick them in a player SBC you like the look off.

 

I saved all my fodder players to complete the Kante and Mahrez flashback SBC for free.

It seems from reading this thread that FUT had become a little less awful and more open to all but with the latest update they’ve reversed it all. EA just can’t help themselves, can they? 
 

I had been tempted to get the game and maybe do an Italian only team for fun and see how far I could get but it seems like FUT is a full time job. Luckily (or unluckily) my real full time job is pretty all consuming right now so I’ve not actually played anything in a whole. Having a FUT I could hop in and out of seemed appealing and I’ve been missing footy as a game. 
 

Will just steer clear for now and maybe get when it goes down to super cheap maybe…

managed to get to div 2 using that team but seem to have more success when i tried a custom 4-1-3-2 , it seemed to confuse the sweaties and was easier to ping the through ball to 2 strikes instead of one and could play a 1-2 better .

I tend to play drop back at the minute, not because I like it but it seems to work and has got me from division 7 to division 2 and then if I’m losing with 20 to go I’ll go constant pressure and change to a 4-2-4.

 

last year I was division 5 and gold 3 so id say I’m bang average but this is so frustrating, but I guess the needing five wins automatically excludes 50 odd percent.

Nice to see the game has become basketball like again since the update on Tuesday. 

 

I had two games yesterday, i conceded 9 goals in 2 games. 4-4 draw and a 5-5 draw. 

 

4-4 game all goals scored in the first half, 5-5 game my opponent scored 3 kick off goals.. one of them being in the 93rd minute despite +1 additional time. 

 

Before the update i was winning and keeping clean sheets for fun... pretty annoying

Finally succumbed to FUT this year after having avoided it for 10 Fifa games in a row. I had gotten 1500 points and qualified for the playoff thingy but now all the points are gone. Is this cos of the new season or is it a bug? Seems well harsh to just remove all the points but you never know with EA

I had the same issue, the points were replaced this evening. Luckily I was given 3 wins in play offs so managed to qualify for this weekend.

Opened 4 jumbo rare player packs plus 15 odd other packs and got absolutely f all so I had a meltdown and spent 300k and all my fodder on salah

My whole team went tonight 🤣 game play was woeful and matchmaking in champs was next level rough! Stopped at 8/6 (went 8/1 last week ) and gave away the rest of the wins only to get feck all from my reds/totw pack/100k pack! Waste of time

Hes an absolute monster, never qualified for futchamps with such ease, his dribbling and positioning are unreal but omg his finishing is just insane! Have absolute 0 regrets on spending my coins he feels endgame!
