Retain the ball, if thats popping it to open players then so be it. You can protect the ball in the corner but by far the best way to play this game is to slow it down. I've played too many people who are constantly trying to route 1 or race it into the box, but a bit of patience and finding space is far better.

From the 80th minute onwards if I’m winning, I start wasting time  keep the ball for longer than you need to, usually ends up with the opponent giving up and I let the time tick down with the ball with my keeper. Or even better they rush players out of position and you can score another.

Absolutely detest this new Champions format. Used to make it into the Weekend league every week and get 16-18 wins. Haven't qualified for the finals once this time round and very rarely win a playoff game. Sat in division 3 in rivals but the playoffs are just impossible. Ruined the game.

this year is so much harder I can't seem to get passed division 4 got a decent enough team just seem to really struggle this year.

When do you play the play offs? I leave it as late as I can in the week, usually Thursday night.

I’ve not qualified yet either. I was gold 3 most weeks last year and I more often than not don’t even get close in qualifying. Couple of times I’ve needed to win the final game and lost. It’s rubbish.

Drafts against the computer is pointless get to 2 wins and they turn impossible to beat 🙈 and the rewards are crap 😂 anyway rant over

@coolhandfox took some of your advice re: playing CDMs and having a lot more luck. Packed Lewandoski and Kimmich so built a half decent Bundesliga team and doing a lot better now. Also recently been playing with a Serie A team with Dybala as a false 9 and getting so much more space in behind, recommend it highly!

You know the rewards in offline draft are the same regardless of difficulty so if you are going to play them you might as well play on begginer difficulty.

Managed to do quite a lot of the league sbc mostly using the bronze pack method which has been useful just haven’t packed anything from the rewards yet 🙈

I go with 433(2). Used this for 3 years and been great for me. Need quick wingers tho.
