Used to hate FUT, but after a few weeks on grinding and some very good luck with packs, I’ve actually got a few very decent squads and find it quite enjoyable.

I did the same and went to 12 wins for the first time this weekend. Got 3 of the better players in my picks but none of them fit my team. Packed a hero in my rewards but he’s only doing worth 20k so back to 8 wins for me

Love Dembele standard gold card, I have the coins in the bank to get his rule breaker, but I'm tight! 

 

Where did you play him? 

 

I play him down the middle. His 5* 5* makes him a great striker. His stamina is more of an issue at CAM or RW

Go long, play balls over the top. 

 

If you pass it around in your half, you lose the ball in bad areas, put it in behind the other team's fullback or CB's who will be pushing up to apply pressure. 

 

If you lose it, they are getting the ball back in their final third, not yours. If you have a chance to score great, if not, try and head for the corner to win a throw, corner. 

 

Worse case, they have to travel the whole pitch again to attack. All this is running down the other team's stamina, making it hard to press you. 

 

Remember, they are playing against the clock, breaking up play and using up time like a team would in real life.

Does anyone know anyway to speak to EA customer services? I have sent an email and have so far had 6 different responders who have all missed the main points of the email and so not been any help at all. I rang the 0208 number and an automated answering message just tells me to try online and cuts me off.

 

Any help is gratefully received.

Upto div 3 rivals and finding there are more players similar to me. Level 4 was full of people who are insane at using skill moves and should be much higher, or players I could beat easily)

 

Div 3 seems to have more people that are more reliant on using the pitch, momentum of players, 1-2-1's and timing runs well. I'm finding most games to be quite equal, moved up to level 2 after a few decent wins and been win/lose/win/lose since.

 

I just hate the inevitability of someone being on the edge of the box performning skill moves while they wait for an AI player to run into space and then pass it to them. Annoying that I'm unaware of anyway to stop this from happening.

 

Really enjoying this years edition though, Leon Bailey has been getting on the end of a few Phil Foden crosses which has been a nice unexpected link up

Same with me regarding Bailey. Seems to be on the end of Sterlings crosses for a volley at the back post quite often.

Tried him at cam/Lw/Rw and st just couldn’t get on with him but that could be due to me being like you in terms of being tight  also I’ve got untradeable CR7 so he’s pretty much irreplaceable and Bernardo Silva at cam who’s pretty much my favourite card so far this year which leaves realistically only the wings and I just can’t bring myself to having a 900k + card stuck out wide

I've got 2.7m at the moment and can't being myself to spend it. I packed Neymar and sold him because I was worried he would go down

I much prefer using untradeable players so might just head down that route as like you if a player is worth a major amount of coins I just don’t think it’s worth keeping… same goes when I look at bringing players in I’ve got 1.1m but can’t even bring myself to buy rulebreaker Diaby for 90k  keeping a tradeable Varane has nearly broke me but he’s just unreal

You can pick up OTW Danny Ings for about 10.5k at the minute. Worst case scenario you can quick sell for 9.9k and one IF and surely he’d go up. Bought about 5 so far.

OTW Locatelli is 12k and 84 rated. If Juve win 2 of their next 4 he’ll go to 86. I don’t see how you can lose on him.

Yeah I looked at Locatelli and he's another good option. My thinking was even with a +2 the Locatelli card isn't that desirable and there might be better Serie A cards out there whereas Ings would be semi-usable and good for chem so may have a higher ceiling.

 

Either way they're both no loss gambles

I think with Locatelli, he’s currently the same price as an 86 gold card and he’s very likely to become an 86. So as fodder prices rise he should rise too.

A lot of the talk on here i can see relates to FUT which would appear to be the only positive for Fifa 22.

 

Sure, there are some good visual additions; the whole mascot's coming out with players, some of the animations etc etc..but that aside, the mechanics are just as poor as they have ever been. I am starting to think that the score is decided before you even start the match. Why is every match so high scoring? How can so many rebounds, deflections & saves end up at the oppositions feet for them to slot it? I have never seen the cross bar get so hit so many teams either, at least 3 times a match.

 

Visually, good, if you put aside the laziness of not having real player faces for the likes of Castange, Fofana and many other first team players across the league.

 

The game is as much on rails as it's ever been though. There's absolutely no 'random' ball movements. You'll see the likes of Brighton turn in to prime Barca to come back from 4-1 with a flurry of wonder goals, rebounds and talent.

 

Really struggling to enjoy the game this year, although my opinion is all based from Career mode so far.
