Had a dude doing that to me last night whilst unlocking Bergwijn… I let him Score the first after which he paused it about 3 times to get me to quit… when I didn’t he went full sweat mode even though there was no win element needed to complete the objective… literally done all he could to try and prevent me getting a goal and assist even though it had no extra benefit to him… long story short after going 2 down I went full sweat mode and slapped the rat

Hes an absolute monster, never qualified for futchamps with such ease, his dribbling and positioning are unreal but omg his finishing is just insane! Have absolute 0 regrets on spending my coins he feels endgame!

Packs aren't too bad, mega pack, rare electrum I think and some half decent other ones. I was grateful to pack volland for the millionth time with those

How many wins do you really need on rivals each week for the rewards to be half decent?

I think the rewards are either 3 wins or 7. There’s no point playing after you’ve got 7 wins which is pretty poor really. Unless you’re trying to get promoted.

Ah ok thanks. Bit rubbish but saves having to play to much rivals as I don’t want to get promoted if I don’t need to hard enough in div 7 😂

Yeah that’s exactly what I do  but I make the mistake of playing co op rivals and getting promoted without realising

Think I am just gonna get the 7 wins and go back to squad battles.always get a bit tempted with the friendly objectives but seems like to much effort 😂

I’d definitely recommend doing them. A lot of people do the unwritten rule of golden goal in friendlies. So it’s less stressful than rivals especially if you do the same thing. 

You can get through the objectives quite quick because of this and the players could become useful later in the game (icon swaps)

convinced myself I was going to do the Salah sbc so thought I’d spam a few of those new 82+ stat packs… 6 in I packed Messi… guess I won’t be doing Salah then

still struggling here i seem to have no midfield and my players dont press great unlike the opposition who are up my jacksy all the time , my fullbacks dont stay back and wingers dont stay forward . 

 

what tactics and formation are people using to make 8 players defend and then pow one ball and you have 4 players attacking . they cant also be using constant press because the stamina seems to never run out 

 

its the same every game and oh dont get me started on run to the byline and either shoot at the angle or hard pass into box and goal ffs 

 

oh servers are crap also

People just want to smash 20 goals against you in friendlies which is fine but I only want the 1 in a game just to do the objective 😂people need to chill

Yeah so I did 20 of the passing 82+ as people said you're more likely to get walkouts from it... just the 1 walkout which was Kroos. Got mount 3 times in a feckin row... kill me

Set your full backs to stay back while attacking, your wingers to come back on defence and get into the box for crosses, although I don’t use it personally drop back on defence along with about 30 depth and 40 width will have you sit pretty deep whilst the oppo has the ball whilst also being pretty narrow and compact… then have your attacking set to balanced and direct passing so your players boot it forward as soon as you’ve got the ball… L1 and R1 also trigger players runs if you press them when looking at a player and tap either 1 L1 I think sends them on a forward run and R1 makes them run towards you

To add to what @dbtcity said, stick your fullback on conservative interception, make them less like to rush to intercept a pass when controlled by the game AI, meaning they are more likely to keep in position and team shape. 

 

We regard stopping the pullback from the byline, using second man press to close down the ball carrier whilst switching to an inside defender. Whilst the AI-controlled player closes down the player. You can position the player you control to block the cross or to stop them from cutting inside for a shot

jThis time last year/all fifa Keepers couldn't catch a cold from corners or crosses. Now they seem to catch everything going. 

 

Surely there's a middle ground in there somewhere? 

 

Had a brilliant start to this fifa and some unbelievable pack luck. Now the markets dead and this looks bang average bar a few players 😂

Honestly don’t see the point of people trying to score loads last you in friendlies when you are not bothered about playing to serious . My team I am using as I have no defensive players with 82 pace are all strikers pretty much so can see I am not taking it serious surely 😂

Meta has gone back to drop back and spam though balls.  

 

In my view, most of the patches seem to have made the gameplay worse, not better.

Always the case, game was brilliant and they patch it to make it worse. Happens every year!

So a freebie from EA, similar to us getting becks last year but some other players available, that's nice and all but they're going to be fodder come January
