Score shit loads like that. My corner taker has 11 corners and crossing as well currently. He got 27 assists in all comps last year. He's my mezzala and main creator from open play as well, so that's not all corners, but a fair few were. 

I've started again with Maidstone on the basis I wasn't going to play a Gegenpress style as that might have been making it too easy.

 

Got a guy with 14 on corners and my set up is exactly as yours is; let's see if we can get Joe Ellul, Tyler Brownsword or George Elokobi all in to double figures!

 

Going to try to run it with the values MUFC supporters enjoy; so no one with low teamwork, stamina or workrate will be signed and a big onus on trying to improve whatever comes through the youth system. The facilities are obviously not great so we need a bit of luck and we have our scouts working on young British players; tagging the ones with desirable character/profile and we'll hopefully move for them when released. Not necessarily being swayed by technical stats at this time. 

 

Should be an interesting experiment. 

 

Likely do need to get myself in to the league proper though.

im second in the league, 20 points behind tns, league cup runner up and my team has 6 red cards. im not finding it easy.

Did a save with Brighton in beta and finished 2nd and won the league cup. They have a decent but seemed far too easy. Started another save them them and currently 3rd and UCL qualification in the bag with 4 games to go. Not using any OP tactic either. Only team i struggled against is Liverpool.

Transfers seem all over the place. Really struggle to loan decent squad players and young players out even offering out with zero wage contribution. Newcastle randomly put a bid in for Solly March who wanted to go out on loan. Managed to fleece them for 35 mill!

Liverpool over 100 points again(done it in every save so far) and Newcastle blew 160 mill in January to get relegated

finished second in the league as well. was another inconsistent season but it goes to show if we can manage to be more consistent, we could challenge TNS. signed on for another year and the conference pre qualifying will be fun, would be insane to make the group stage. 



will lose some key players who have outgrown us so hopefully i can replace them and improve our goalscoring as well. my new assymetric tactic worked really well for the last 2 months and ill build the new signings with that in mind. finances are not looking good, we have lost 200k in the last 2 years, and while we are still in the black, i need to cut costs before we're in trouble, although if we can win a game in the league path of the conference we will get 170K, which would be nice

Back to my unemployment challenge. Did the League and Cup double in my first season with Hajduk Split (3rd season overall), got into the group stages of the Champions League and handed this group

Doing the Liechtenstein thing at the mo with Schaan.
 

Two seasons; piece of piss but still only at 5th tier of Swiss football for next season. Had a heartbreaking 2-1 loss to Vaduz in the Cup final which would have got us in the Conf League and laughing with money. 
 

National team:- the Nations League D promoted but the qualifications are incredibly hard. I play friendlies against beatable opponents because it’s all about to trying to improve my ranking for the pots. There is probably about three decentish youngsters come through in Year 2. Could do with a striker really. Defence will be good in two to three years. Couple of handy wingers too

Are there many other teams like that?

 

 

FC Romania who are in Isthmian North could be a good one for the future when there is a good database that works properly

The Liechtenstein thing is a little bit of an exception because there is only one European place via the Cup. You also require the Swiss Leagues add on for further effect - you can't get any of the Swiss European spots. 

 

There is the San Marino challenge too; you can choose to use a San Marino league add-on (which means European places) or the San Marino team in the Italian pyramid.

Started a new save with Wolfsburg, and before that I edited all the Premier League managers to be as they should, including Ole no longer being Man Utd manager... who do they hire as their new manager? Ole

Anyone else having a slight problem with mardy arsed academy players. I'm about to lose a second decent prospect for nothing because they're annoyed that I haven't loaned them out to some 4th tier dross who wanted to use them as an "impact sub" (they're a centre half by the way). The first one was totally my own fault and I've ended up having to cash in for a small fee and a sell on clause (which is a lot better than it could've been) as I totally forgot that I broke a promise I made in a contract to loan him out before turning down a loan offer  but this one there was no such promise. I'm now likely to lose them for nothing. It's bullshit.
