Rangers are among a growing number of sides who are trailing Millwall’s teenage sensation Zak Lovelace.

The 15-year-old striker, six days short of his sixteenth birthday, is regarded as one of the brightest talents to emerge at the club in recent years.

Lovelace is already attracting interest from the English Premier League, from sides such as Leicester City and former club Brighton.

Rangers have had watched him regularly this season.

He became the New Den’s second youngest player when he came off the bench against Coventry City last month, having to get permission from his school to play.

Millwall boss Gary Rowett has let Lovelace train with his first team on several occasions this season and hopes that will help to keep him in the UK capital.

Rowett previously predicted: “He’s going to have a big career ahead of him, I’m sure.”

Millwall have massive hopes for Lovelace who has been at the London club since he was 13, having been at Crystal Palace and Brighton.

They are desperately trying to convince him to remain and to sign a professional contract.

Lovelace has scored more than 20 goals for the Lions playing at Under-16, 18 and 23 levels.

To any highly rated propect, our club is very attractive to join given our track record of young players progressing into the first team and facilities. I am sure if we are interested, we will be at the front of the queue.

Can't think why they haven't made a film about it. A horror film. No wonder she campaigned against porn in later life.

These are the players we should be all over. Players who clearly have talent that we can polish more shine .

For most of them they'll make it in the game. 10 mil down ,10 after so many first team games. Or a share of any future profit.

If they don't make it we'll likely get our money back selling on.
