The Posh Academy to host open trial for under 7s through to under 14s at the start of June.

The Peterborough United Academy are delighted to announce we will be hosting an open trial for players from the ages of Under 7’s to Under 14’s. This will be hosted at Bosworth Academy, Leicester Lane, Leicester LE9 9JL.

Players will get the opportunity to play games and showcase their ability to Peterborough United academy staff. All the information for the trials is below.

Date

Thursday 1st June 2023

Venue

Bosworth Academy, Leicester Lane, Leicester LE9 9JL

Times (2022/2023 age groups)

U7 & U8: 9:00am-10:00am

U9 & U10: 10:15am-11:15am

U11 & U12:  11:30am-12:30pm

U13: 12:45pm-1:45pm

U14:  2:00pm-3:00pm

If you would like to register your son, please complete the form link and your son will be all registered. You will not receive a confirmation email but once you complete the form your son will be expected to turn up at the correct time: https://forms.office.com/e/wMhaFhTmtr

Looks like another older player leaving Villa who we will try and pick up just to fill out the squad

This petty connection is getting a bit tedious now.  It would have been slightly understandable  if we were in a lower division but we're really doing ourselves a disservice living off of these scraps. 

 

Just feels lazy

4 in the last 5 seasons so far

 

Viktor Johansson in 18/19

 

Mitch Clark in 19/20

 

Lewis Brunt in 21/22

 

Paul Appiah in 22/23

 

Viktor Johansson the only one who looks decent now but he only got a chance at senior football after leaving us for free to Rotherham

Hopefully Petty wont be there next season. Need a refresh across the board. Is Beaglehole still there?

I don't get why we're 'still' going for players released by Villa. None of the others have gotten close to our first team. Just reeks of laziness.

Maswanhise's ball across the box comes to Madivadua free at the back post, first shot is blocked on the line but puts in the 2nd chance
