With the first game vs Brentford today, where do you think we will finish the season?

After getting it spot on last season (predicted 8th) ahem, I've been all over the shop from 9th to 16th, so I'll plump for somewhere in the middle...13th.

I’m going to say 7th-8th, squad wise that’s about where we are, but with other teams competing in Europe, and as it stands only the three Belgians and Ndidi and Iheanacho off to the World Cup - we could have a large portion of our squad have a big midsession break - so I’ve not given up on top 6!

I think we can finish between 6th and 8th with the squad we have, but that’s optimistically assuming we have improved some of our defensive issues and don’t lose more than Youri from our key players before the end of the window

If we can navigate this current situation and speculation and stabilise the squad then 7-8th could be achievable. That has to be seen as good result particularly if we can make progress on the squad restructure that is going to happen regardless with the current contract situation. That is going to require some patience and pragmatism but we all want a successful outcome. If we can successfully introduce one or two younger players through the course of the season that would definitely help the transition.
