Well given my autistic over-organisational traits, I've started to eye up the next trips.

Definitely going Bari in November but a few pointers I am looking at. I have a list of European ground I'd like to visit it but these are the most immediate.

Belgrade derby (always no1.), Morton (bloody big crane), Arbroath (cos the location), Glentoran (cos the ground is the GOAT in the UK), Quick Boys (tail it with a park run Z), about four in Belgium (Racing Mechelen or Olympic Charleroi the best of the lot), Nantes & Strasbourg (respective derbies), Valencia (high up the list), Kaiserslautern, Borrusia Neunkirchen (look it up!), all of Italy but Bari & Lecce in particular - although Udine & Verona, there is a superb set of flights which allow a quick jaunt to Atalanta from East Mids, Hajduk Split, PAOK, Arka v Lechia

In the UK - thinking of targeting a ground each month which is outside of the norm

Marine, FC United, Worcester (now at the rugby ground), Hastings Town, Mossley, Bourne Town, Malvern (so I can do the superb nags head pub), Great Yarmouth, MFL & all as many UCL as possible.

Other information

Serie A have ambitously said 6th June for their fixtures. August bank Holiday - both Milan clubs playing at San Siro due to Winter Olympics.

That's really cool. I would like to go to Milan and Valencia this calendar year. The Super Cup is at Udinese so I will apply for tickets to that.

So with you on this.

Also keen on Valencia as Mestalla looks incredible, but nothing beats an Italian trip.

Sardinia, Sicily and Apulia are the last major regions for me to see Italian football in.

Want to do the really geeky thing of taking the train which uses the ferry to get to Sicily

Seriously looking at the copenhagen derby next season for my next trip.  Not least because after flying to Copenhagen, the customs officer asked how long i was in Denmark for and i said about half an hour 🤣, we are going over the oresund bridge then up to stockholm for the derby.

Maybe its a swedish/danish rivalry but he said "we have derbies here too you know"  quite put out he was 🤣.  Got me thinking though .

Anyway, anyone been to copenhagen derby?  Recommendations/contacts for obtaining tickets? Best areas to stay?

Istanbul looks an incredible area to groundhop.

So many options in the top 3 divisions so going to try and find a week once the European competitions have also kicked in to give a better chance of getting to as many as I can.

Enjoy Tyncastle, its a great example of how to rebuild a ground within its old footprint.

Finally booked to go and tick Bromley off after a couple of cancellations.

They're playing Barnet at home the day before our first game.

Looking like Everton to complete the 92 again is going to have to be when they play a team like Bournemouth and go in the away end.

Likely to be doing Marine on 30th August - unless a FA Cup tie stands out.

September - FC Rodos at home while on holiday there.

November - Bari looking likely 21st with Monopoli playing down the road too

December - PSG / Really want to persuade the wife if she will permit Red Star Paris too.

Got to look a bit deeper at potential non-league ones.

Monopoli is a lovely town and I was surprised how popular the team is there and how they've improved. Thrashed Foggia away last year who I always had down as a pretty big club in the region.

I've been to Monopoli! Typical sleepy drowsy Italian town but the football stadium is nice, I did not go for a match, just into the ground.

Would love to do PSG one day, did you get tickets easily?

Not out yet but reliably informed their resale market always has tickets bar the likes of games v Marseille.

Clay Cross on Tuesday first one of the season....

Hamburg in November hopefully, which will be Bundesliga ground number 4.... well it would be if Hertha sorted themselves out and got back up.

I am in Brussels in 7/8 Nov. I see Anderlecht are at home to club Brugge, prob won't get a ticket to that. Cercle Brugge are at home to Leuven though, presume easier to get a ticket. When do KO times get confirmed? Could do a day trip to Brugge as it is nice there anyway. @Bonanza

KO times should be announced in the first week of September.

Was in the away end for the Everton v Roma game. A mix of die hard Roma fans, Italian ex pats & a few groundhoppers made a convivial & sometimes noisy atmosphere in an otherwise soulless 51,000 crowd.

We have a schedule addition. After sign off on a very brief trip over to Belgium in November.

Eurostar into Brussels and then Mechelen on Friday evening.

Wake up in Mechelen and do my last long run before Leicester Half. Which might be running to Antwerp using cycle lines. I am billing it as my Training Camp

Saturday - Racing Mechelen at 2000 - https://www.europlan-online.de/oscar-vankesbeeck-stadion/stadion-3698.html

Sunday - Rupel Boom at 1500 - https://www.europlan-online.de/gemeentelijk-parkstadion/stadion-3688.html

Then get from Boom to Brussels; back to home

Completed the 92 again on Wednesday at the Everton v Mansfield game.

Strange set up really, can't work out if I enjoyed it or not. The ground is in the middle of nowhere, but that might be ok once they've settled in and more has been developed around it.

The sponsor on the side looks abysmal, you wouldn't even know it's Everton's ground until you're right on top of it. Looks like an airport terminal.

The acoustics are very good, Mansfield made a lot of noise, but Everton's fans were surprisingly silent seeing as it's only the second game there.

Kick off delayed and hundreds missed the start because of the collections being so slow. They've spent hundreds of millions on a ground, yet only had two windows open for 4k+ to collect tickets. It would likely have kicked off if it wasn't full of groundhoppers queuing.
