The part of todays event that baffles me is the ‘queue from 1:30pm’ bit. For a children’s book signing. In term time.

Most kids are going to arrive around 4pm, I just hope the club don’t turn people away.

Exactly what I was thinking, anyone know where I can park nearby for free? don't want to risk not getting in the car park.

Traffic was a nightmare, very happy they didn’t honour the 5:30pm cut off time. We queued from 4:45pm until 6:25pm to get to the front of the queue.

I got a photo of my lad with Jamie and then staff also helped to take one with me in too with Jamie and Becky. Didn’t feel too rushed, and the kids were given free Filbert soft toys on the way out. Pretty pleasant experience.

I’m still frozen, but I’m glad we did it. Lad is proper chuffed he got to meet his hero.

Lots of people trying it on with football shirts etc, but security weren’t having any of it.

Trying it on with football shirts? Grow up, a 10 year old wanting a football shirt signed, what's wrong with that? My lad took his, it was worth a try, got refused, so what, he was still happy with what he got.

I hope the book is more cheerful than Jamie looks in the photo for the seasonal visit to the Leicester Childrens Hospital

Could Caglar star in V for Vendetta…. but without the mask?

How passive aggressive. You know I didn’t create or enforce the rules, right? Chill mate. Glad your boy is happy though.
