Jamie and Rebekah Vardy will be signing copies of their debut children’s book, Cedric the Little Sloth with a Big Dream, at a special event at Foxes Fanstore this December, with booking for this limited-capacity event now open.
- Cedric the Little Sloth with a Big Dream co-authors to hold special book signing session at Foxes Fanstore at King Power Stadium on Thursday 15 December (4pm to 5:30pm)
- Copies of the book are priced at £7.99 and tickets include free access to the special event, to be signed by Jamie and Rebekah
- Event is open to all supporters, with fans urged to act quickly to secure places

A special pre-Christmas experience for City supporters, Foxes icon Jamie and his wife Rebekah will welcome fans to Filbert Way on Thursday 15 December.

A charming rhyming story with a heartfelt message, Cedric the Little Sloth with a Big Dream is the first title in the BUG series from Jamie and Rebekah, with more titles set to follow. With football as the backdrop, each character and book help to teach young children to stand tall and be the best version of themselves and be there for their friends.

Jamie is my lads hero, I happily paid £7.99 for him to get to meet him. It’s interesting how slow these sell when the supporters are asked to part with a small amount of money. The Daka and Ricardo signing sold out in about 5 minutes and poor Jamie has 100 spaces left this morning.

 

Anybody reckon they’ll let kids have photos with him? No mention of it in the description, but my lad would rather have a photo than an autograph.

I am totally opposed to this 'celebrity children's writer' racket that's sprung up over the last few years.

 

They're never any good as pieces of fiction, they take food from the mouths of other writers, and it reeks of exploiting families financially trading off of popularity. 

 

I'd have hoped that children's literacy was one of the areas that would escape the rampant greed of society but, obviously, I'd have been a fool to do so.
