Atmosphere reflects what’s happening on the pitch - whether that’s right or wrong it’s the truth.

Some teams have come from behind and put it down to the fans so probably not right

Thought it was funny when the man city fans sang ‘is this the etihad’

I must be interpreting that one wrong. I thought the inference was it's that loud with Man. City voices, that it sounds like they're at home, but not you're as quiet as we are at home.

Been sh*te for years and not really a surprise with how many we have banned, amount who simply can’t afford it and recent success we’ve been spoilt for.

I know dozens who went week-in, week out throughout the Rob Kelly, Levein and Mandaric days and who now just don’t bother. Nearly all were from SK2, SK3 and went most aways.

I go to home matches very sporadically now and I look round, wherever I sit and think ‘where and when did we get it so wrong?’

That’s normal isn’t it. Everything in life changes, people move on, nothing stays static

Etihad is inferred similarly to the emirates in that it is quiet. So it’s a more original chant than ‘is this a library.’ That was my take on it anyway!

Obviously rubbish, but it was much better to see people get behind them when we conceded. I noticed Mavididi applaud back.

Yes I think Ruud appreciated it too.

Hopefully he's got the message on Ward too. I noticed there wasn't a murmur when Stolarczyk essentially did a Ward for the 1st goal.

We've been more than patience where that imbeciles concerned.

Going down with united

Cities going down with a billion in the bank.

Best fans this season

Certainly decent once they went 2-0 up.

Still managed a rendition of that Ranieri chant though, proper weirdos.

Away fans always look good against us in my opinion.

Maybe it’s because they’re tucked away in a corner.

Or just shows how shite our home support is.

But regardless of the team, the away limbs always look good in the King Power.

But Winks reached the ball first and managed to get a pass out to James Justin. Danger averted. Vestergaard then turned around to the Kop, gestured to the City fans with the universal symbol for ‘stay calm’, then pointed to the pitch as if to say: ‘Trust us, we’ve got this.’

Shame the report didnt go on to say "Leicester didnt have this and went on to lose 2-0 as Jannick and his teammate Conor let the opposition striker roam into the centre of their box, unmarked."

Our atmosphere is terrible. Has been for many years with the exception of that one season.

Someone sat next to me for 16 years at the football in SK2 has been suspended for swearing too much, yet vaping occurs near enough everywhere else. The fans will.moan and groan, but won't turn on the board and hierarchy, but they will willingly turn on each other without a second thought. Our support at home games is embarrassing and spineless.

Man City remain the strangest fanbase. Singing about us sacking Ranieri, so weird. Obsessed with it.

They should look closer to home – Mancini won Man City their first league title and FA Cup for over 40 years and he was still sacked for the crime of finishing second in the league

For a fanbase that has seen their team win everything possible, they spent a lot of time silent until they scored the second goal.

Agreed, strange bunch, they are still getting to grips with winning things in their 14 year history.

Banned for swearing? Is that really a thing? Football was always a place you let off steam, a place where you could forget the doom and gloom of spending 40+ hours a week at work just for 90 minutes on a Saturday.
I find it incredible that people still pay vast amounts of money to attend what has become the equivalent of going to the cinema.

If you want an atmosphere, go anywhere except england.

I think we have to accept football culture in england is dead.

My advice is if you want a dose of real football culture, save up a bit and take trips elsewhere.

Not strictly true.  Some of the lower league clubs have decent atmospheres.

In the last couple of years i've done a few neutral games, from Accrington to Colchester ... and been pleasantly surprised by the decent atmosphere.

It's in the upper echelons of the English game, that the atmospheres have really tanked.

Decent...compared to what though?  The premier league?  Thats not much of a compliment.

Its dire everywhere in England apart from the odd big derby, even then its pretty lame.

Of course england was only really a hotbed in the 50's-70's then it was in a slow decline.

Its never been as bad as it is now.

That's why the scene in scotland is so appealing.  It just shows what can be done.  How things can change and change quickly.

But there's no sign it will get better in england, fans don't seem to care, authorities hate the idea, clubs only want families and tourists because they equal money.

So we'll carry on discussing how bad it is year after year.

I think you're overdoing it a bit.

For every Dunfermline v Falkirk humdinger, there are a load more sedate games - where the only atmosphere is a bunch of black-shirted 15 years olds jumping up and down endlessly to an incessant drum beat.

I've been a couple of Scottish games recently, and yeah it was decent.   But we're not talking about 1980 Celtic/Rangers levels of passion.    As I said, some of the lower league English clubs have got a pretty big "ultra" scene.   A lot bigger than anything in the top 2 divisions.

The Hearts/Hibs games look about the best there is at the moment.  I suspect the Dundee derby is also well tasty.   Celtic/Rangers games used to be the best, until the clubs and authorities pretty much nullified the away support ... so it's only at Hampden you get anything like a proper old firm game.
