Bloody hell! I would contact your Local MP, citizens advice, the mercury, all the other national media outlets, these well-networked football social media pages etc with a full email of the timeline of events and the response from LCFC. Send the template email to all parties. Surely some smoking bombs in there to cause a stir in your story.

If you get a positive response, figure out a cost of damages and lodge a small claims court summons. 

Power to the people brother. Don't get pushed around like all the other 'games gone mate its gone' simps, fight!!!

Its quite astonishing how things have changed.

 

Average fan in the stretford end in the 60's was 17.  By the 2000's it was 40+.

 

Compare this to the likes of germany.  Most supporter groups have a senior membership, which you have to go in if you're 35+...thats right 35+.  Supporter groups that have rep at board level make sure no more than 50% of season tickets get sold, because it will cause an older fan base in the future. Thats why the average fan in the supporter clubs is 20 in germany.

 

I don't think the premier leage now publish the average age (i wonder why) but it was 42 a decade ago, doubt its gone down any.

There does seem to be quite a few who are discussing packing it in, me included. The atmosphere was always 50% of the attraction for me, but for many reasons it's at an all time low.

 

I'm all for a younger generation taking it on, and they may get their wish especially if we are relegated, the club will be forced to rethink their pricing and general attitude towards the fanbase. They'll need to bring new people in.

The more I think about it the more I think ditching it would be quite a liberating feeling. 

 

I can't quite describe what I mean but the holding of a season ticket feels anything but positive for some reason.

Well the last few pages have been a depressing read. Sad times when the club seem to be so detached from the fan base that’s been there years.

The clubs been dying a slow death since we lost Vichai. Its just now more noticable to a larger portion of the fans. The wasted money, signings, contracts, jobs for the boys who arent qualified or experienced in what they have been asked to do. Not sure on the answer as were to placid to do anything. Remenbrer the gang of four protests at the end of games outside the Carling stand. There flashpoints all was 200-300 making thrmselves heard with how tclub is/isnt doin

Liberated is the way i feel.....still watch them on streams....but go to my local non league club now and havn't missed the KP Matchday"experiance" at all!

It's sadly what's happening throughout the Premier League nowadays. Top flight football will eat itself before it treats the fans with any sort of reverence or respect.

I would say that the 'evidence' provided would get laughed out of a court, and in all probability Dan wouldn't even be arrested - let alone charged or convicted. 

 

Unfortunately, football clubs are like pubs and shops in the sense that they can bar you for any reason other than a protected characteristic. 

 

The good news that a ban given by Leicester City under these circumstances should only apply to Leicester City as it is a civil rather than criminal matter. If he wanted to go to Villa today for some bizarre reason, then sharing his personal data with them to try and influence their decision whether to avail himself of their facilities could be a breach of GDPR on the part of the data controller at LCFC.

1st half was horrendous though from both sets of fans.

We ain’t half got some disrespectful arseholes who supports. I’ll happily defend any Leicester fan but some of the behaviour I’ve seen today is exactly what gives the club all the opportunity to do ID tickets and why safe standing is a no go.

I’ve saw one report of racism on Twitter by a decent lad as well who called out. One ‘away day fan’ account has shown a photo of stickers about Birmingham today in support of Tommy Robinson and ‘stop the boats’ 

 

the train stopped twice on the way back including a fifteen minute stop at Nuneaton with the Police getting involved. Forgot to mention when a 50 yr old bloke made a homophobic comment to a young lad today when he got off at Hinckley 
 

In the safe standing section today, I had next to me three lads standing in the place for two seats. This made it uncomfortable for the entire row and my near 70 dad, happy to stand, all game couldn’t see the pitch. When asked if he fancied moving to his assigned spot, the first threat was violence
