I wish the club would let the post match celebrations be organic and not play that honking track from Porto away as the full time whistle goes. Little things like that they are miles off it.

They also keep playing freed from desire even though our player with a chant to that tune has left.

This song needs to go now. It's every single club in what feels like Europe.

On a Birmingham forum they're complaining about being attacked after the match by Leicester fans in Morrisons car park.

 Zulus missing in action ?

We all got into football for the class and respect showed to opposition players right?

Gray was an underwhelming no mark with an inflated view of himself constantly whining cryptically on social media. Plus he went down ‘injured’ twice and was rolling around like fanny - he was fine.

Glad he got stick.

The majority of criticism regarding this is from people who have no idea about it all with their argument being “he played for you when you won the league”

Yeah he did, 177 minutes and 1 assist from January onwards in the league. Then failed to fulfill his potential and constantly posted cryptic messages whilst here, then when left he said “shackles off, freedom”.

I was in stadium and I thought our fans in the stand and on the concourses where absolutely fantastic.  The Birmingham fans on the other hand

Personally the best night since Southampton home in the Championship.

Nothing felt right last year. Yesterday felt we were nudging back to where we should be.

I thought similar on my drive home last night, Southampton was a special one.

Really good atmosphere from kick off. It seemed to "catch" from SK1 into G1, perhaps due to the standing thing.

We need more of this.

Perhaps a better pre-match experience would help supporters get more "up for it". The fan zone was a good start last season, but they really need to improve - an official last year at the fan zone said the site was too small and they were looking to move it this season. Don't know what happened to that plan. When some people still prefer to stand around the car park of a chain pub and cinema drinking instead of your own stadium !

I'm sure fans would be happy to get to the ground 1-2hours before KO, spend some much needed money to the Club for a better experience, not just for kids, but also for adults too - better drinks and food, better aesthetics, hey even some stuff that people could instagram the hell out of such as statues/murals/historic stuff about the club. I like the stuff John Hutchinson club historian does - they could really use his experience to design some stuff for around the ground.

If they spent as little of the effort and money doing the area around the stadium as they did doing the Vichai statue and garden (RIP), it'd pay off in so many ways.

I didn't understand the demerai gray stuff.

It was classless IMO.

Won the league. Scored the goal at Cardiff. No need for the chants.

Wasn’t a massive part of the title winning side though - only 1 start and 11 appearances as sub usually in last 10 minutes of games. I honestly didn’t remember he was signed that season.

Birmingham were terrible, especially considering they sold out, but credit they stayed until the end. People around me chanting "fvck off home" didn't seem to comprehend it was our end that was emptying not theirs.

I never understood people that leave 10 minutes early when it's  1_0

But i guess people do have their reasons

Was awful going 2-0 up and straight after the celebration watching thousands get up to leave the stadium.

I can see the logic of what you’re saying but for lots of fans meeting in the pub with their mates before a game is a tradition that a fan zone can’t compete with. For me it’s often the best bit of a match day, especially last season.

Yes, I fully agree. However, increasingly fans and the public wish to be entertained. Pubs are getting less popular because the days of people talking to each other and entertaining themselves are sadly becoming a memory

I’ve been amongst EFL club circles again this week, helping with a few discussions on the things I did before and know. Our club is so ill thought of amongst other clubs. Not surprising. We are fu©️king terrible at FE, all documents, statements and meetings, no substance.

Has anyone been told if they have been given a spot at the your 90 minutes night on atmosphere?

It is a week until the night and think this is the time really fans should know if they have gone in so they can make arrangements to attend.

I registered on 18 aug.  No response yet.

I just had an email about registering for this! That would suggest they have had a very limited and low response and /or they realise it's full of unsavoury types whose input they would want to limit.

I would suspect the latter, struggling to find attendees that aren't in the standing section and therefore won't give favourable responses comrade!
