why does that matterlol no wonder the atmosphere is so poor around the country when fans get taken the piss out of for celebrating winning a game in a title chase. Attitude stinks in England

Like I said after scoring. Nothing special before.

Anyone can be up for it after you've scored. I prefer to judge fans from the start. Not the last ten mins. Glory cvnts when they've scored. But I guess your probably one of that crew.

I'm responding to the other posts that are quite indicative of Foxestalk in general that everyone else is amazing and we are shit at everything. There's loads of posts about how great other teams support is and I don't witness it anywhere?

What was the last great home support we all seen as an away fan?

Hate to say it but Cov were the best I’ve seen

Leeds cov and Plymouth were really good

Last season ...

Not necessarily "great", but I thought Swansea's home support was pretty decent - at least until we went 3-1 up and into cruise control mode.

Cov were noisy, but only after they'd scored against us (and they were playing against their MASSIVE rivals, so you would've expected that).

Ones exciting and new. The other is stale and increasingly sterile.

It’s not as exciting as watching Leicester because you have no attachment or invested interest in the team you’re seeing.

Don’t get me wrong, if I were to be in Munich, for example, I’d see if Bayern were playing and had tickets available on general sale. Or see if they had any bands playing in the city or whatever. But I wouldn’t plan a trip around it.

We also need to talk about the massive correlation between Maresca/Pep/Brendan football on the atmosphere

Faes and Vestegaard passing to each other for the 457th time isn't going to get anyone in the Alliance and Leicester Stand off their seat whipping their replica shirts off and starting a poznan is it?

I get it your point about no attachment but I get to see a wide spectrum of supporting styles, atmospheres, playing styles etc. Games such as the Vienna or Genoa derby is so engaging, exciting and thrilling compared to Brighton and Brentford away I missed for the pair of them.

Increasingly as well I think why should I throw time and effort into a cause which gives me very little back in terms of appreciation and has certainly moved on from being what they view as a fan

Funnily enough I think the football we play now is better for an atmosphere than under enzo. Last year was a tough watch from that point sometimes.

I agree with the whole emotional investment point but I wonder if I am just losing it - I had genuinely no regrets about not being at that Bournemouth game and we won it.

Something has definitely gone a bit for me. I don't know if it's just years of the club trying to kill the atmosphere that I'd rather see play out here or if it's just age - probably a bit of both really.

Genuinely felt like I got the buzz back at times last year. Then it's just completely gone again. Not been once this season and don't plan on going. I just wonder if I've just tired and bored of Premier League football in one way.

You’re getting older, simple as. You’re craving new experiences and ways to scratch the itch and have been there and done it all with lcfc. Literally all in the past decade for us.

Again, some people are content with Tenerife every year for life, some people aren’t. Kids and teenagers won’t be feeling like you about lcfc.

We very much have done it all as well. I know there's something a bit different though when we win for the first time all season in October and I'm not that arsed about missing it.

I'll never fully can it but definitely see the case to cut down. I think the social side has very much carried it since covid. I mean its largely been utter shit anyway. Even last season I think we were 'so' fancied that it wasn't particularly rewarding - not to say there weren't good days in there.

This is true in my experience.

Last season and this one I've taken my teenage son regularly and he absolutely loves it.

It's still all new and exciting for him just like it was for me when I was his age.

Eventually he'll turn into a grumpy, bitter old man like me, but it's nice to see him enjoying his youth.

What were the Juve fans like out of interest? They seem like the only club in Italy which has gone the same way as our clubs.

I get the comparison to ours although I still think it was louder than most grounds in England. Quite up and down. Inter was definitely better. I find Juventus quite an odd club - I find it mad how their ground is only 40k and hasn't sold out when they're considerably the biggest club in the country.

It was alright but I've been to a lot better. I wasn't aware they'd had a full clamp down on their ultras - that does explain things a bit.

I aimed to be by the home teams 'end' for both games and somehow despite research managed to get the wrong end on both occasions so god knows what I was reading. For atmosphere I didn't have a bad seat at Inter though. Near to the Torino end which was very good and you could hear Inter's plenty as well due to the size of it. I'd actually go back to that ground, it's great.

Was at the match at st marys. Our fans were superb 2nd half . Helped by the fact  fatawu can on a sub and ran riot.

Thought  soton fans were poor from start to finish. Didnt appear to push their team on when it was 2.2 towards the end

Well played to the fans today thought that we were much more lively and bringing Abdul on and the positivity it gave the fans helped us get back into the game

Yes helped in terms of the timing and that he was down our side 2nd half. There was a buzz every time he got the ball. The scenes at the end were special.
