You’d have thought and expected atmospheres to have grown over time at the KP, it’s supposed to be the Premier League, the best league in the world…..apparently but they have regressed so far that it’s probably never coming back.
Being surpassed by a one off event by a club 7 tiers away from the Prem with a comparatively tiny proportion of what we get at the KP is surely something to make us realise how sanitised and awful it’s become.

I'm a huge critic of our home atmosphere but let's level the playing field here somewhat. Looking at Harborough's run of the mill games quickly, there may as well be no fans there, it's silent.

Glad they had a great day yesterday but it doesn't change much in terms of LCFC's issues, acting like they took 3000 ultras is just silly.

Lots of people aren't going because they want to enjoy watching a football match, support the team and contribute to an atmosphere.

They're going because they've been ST holders for 20+ years, don't really enjoy it but they're paying for a season ticket so might as well pop down Filbert Way every other Saturday and do some shopping or go to a café before/after the game (and leaving early to beat the crowd means they can fit in an extra 15 minutes of that!) as it gets them out of the house and they can have a natter in the concourse with the bloke who's been sitting in the same seat next to them for 20 years as well.

My Bold.

Not sure who is!

It was a hugely differing fan profile at the game.

Beforehand, outside, it did seem like a Tigers rugby, middle class, Mkt Harboroughite types who all, in the end, contributed to the atmosphere. It was when the coaches arrived and a more substantial amount of the crowd arrived and entered the stadium things ramped up.

It really took me back to when I used to REALLY enjoy my times at Filbert Street and the early days at the KP.

As has already been mentioned, it's the modern day Premier League that, if I'm honest, I don't really enjoy much now but I guess I've just gotta suck it up if I want to carry on supporting my team but yesterday just reminded me so much of how great days at the footy can and could/should be.

Then the same people will trudge down tomorrow and basically just get through it until they can go home again.

They need to give it up. Simple as that

Be a different stadium announcer tomorrow as that new fella is in America for the Mosconi cup pool…..

Whether it is or not, the complaints over the new PA guy are just excuses used again for the shit atmosphere.

Let’s make WYS loud and proud tonight for our new manager.

Can see this be a mixture of both welcoming the new manager to the club and by the way some posts on here are rightly so blaming Rudkin for the mess we’re in can see it have moments of Toxicity against him, especially if Top is in attendance tonight as I’m sure the crowd will want him to know how they feel about Rudkin  and his mismanagement of the club?

I wouldn’t mind having a go at that we need someone on the PA with a bit of passion when reading out the Team not like your telling your Mrs the shopping list, someone who can I still some pride into the club getting the fans up on their feet making some noise like it used to be in the days of when fans were jumping up and down and  registering on the Richter scale at the university.

We need something to bring the goodtimes back to the KP and really hoping Ruud is the one to do that give us something to cheer about again ?

We’ll, what was it like in the ground?

Picked up in the second half, first half was in line with how it’s been so far this season and far too passive.
