Only now, have Woods turned around and said that they have cancelled the bus. Their reason being that a former employee (that they have now sacked as a result), who had been dealing with our booking, was wrong and shouldn’t have accepted the booking on the basis that it wasn’t officially through Leicester City. 
 

Follow up customer service has been poor. We have offered to follow any protocol required to get there, Woods refusing. 
 

So 53 disgruntled ticket holders, home and away dedicated supporters with no way of getting to Liverpool just after Christmas. 
 

All thanks to Woods 👍 Should be ashamed of themselves. 

Book a replacement .... even if it is ubers... and the take them to the small claims court to cover your costs

But it would of been over  £550 cheaper in the first place, but i didn't know they had no drivers. Brains not that good:(

Asked if they could fit us onto a coach somewhere or speak to Woods about the situation and put an extra coach on, no room for us apparently.

 

53 lads who go week in week out and they can't even help stick a bus on for you.

Ok.  I think you have to accept the club are unlikrly to help.  I presume woods have refunded you.  Try chapple end in nuneaton or Roberts or Robinson's.   If the want extra agree to pay it and then send a copy of the bill to woods. If they dont pay the extra (above the refund) in 7 days then take them to the small claims court for the difference plus 500 admin

Would have thought the club could/would have said to Woods, look put another coach on for these lads as they've paid almost 3k for this day out, and that's before we've even left Leicester.

 

It's too late now to book anything else and Woods have said they were unaware of the booking until 27th December and are not liable for match day tickets. We haven't even been given the refund for the original bus either, so don't have the money to rebook another one.

 

Essentially suck up the 1.6k loss in match tickets.

I swear watching your team play away is being made harder and harder each year, from unusual kick off times, reduced allocations, rail strikes, poor coach travel, over the top category ticket banding.

I am sure you will get the money back.  Yet if you  get four minibusses it would cost more so you will have to shell out and then go after woods for the money. 

So, youll have to chase woods for an immediate refund (do no absolve them or mentikn you will be coming back to hit them,)

Find the cash for an expensive alternative snd go to the game (Worst case is the refind doesnt arrive.) 

But come tuesdsy you need to write to woods and ask thrm to stump up the fifference plud 500 for you trouble

We'll get the coach money back via a refund, but asking 53 lads to stump up another £35 each (whilst waiting for the original refund) isn't gonna happen in a couple of hours. Essentially by cancelling today they've virtually guaranteed that we have no other alternative to get there.

 

They are an actual disgrace.

I think I saw earlier that they had no drivers due to holiday and sickness (?) so expecting them to lay something on at such short notice is unfortunate. BUT, Woods sound like an absolute liability here and I don't envy your situation at all. I'd be livid! I very much doubt many would be using them voluntarily any time soon. 

 

I can only guess due to insurance or liability they can't pick any random bus company to replace Woods. Guessing demand is high too hence not being able to?

Ask them.  The ones who dont respond are no longer  part of it.  Those that do are taking a risk but will get to the game and you can hit woods for any extra they had to pay and give them a drink from the admin chargev that you pass on to woods.  If say 30 do and you charge woods for any uplift plus say 600 admin then they will get their money back plus 20 quid.

I appreciate its a hassle.  But they have till say 8pm tonight to divy up or they are out.

I hope you do punish woods
