And now Carter. Can’t say I’m surprised at either of them leaving. More to follow.

Will be plenty more to follow I'm sure.

Not sure we will be able to fill the squad with players who can play his system at this level personally

Hopefully JDC is on the list.
I liked Carter, disappointed he’s going but not surprised.

Time will tell. We won't need an adundance of strikers.

Stevo to Rushall. Can see a few following, shocked to see he's managed a higher job.

Very interested to see how he gets on.

Agree, although Rushall are hardly a bigger club. I think he will do alright, should keep them up again.

Like you say, can see a few following with it being at a higher level. Could see Tim going with him, maybe gooch as well.

Especially with them having an artificial surface.

Can definitely see him wanting Putnam.

Not sure about that, he did just fine at Barwell re building a squad on what I imagine was very limited resources there

Aims of those two clubs are slightly different.

No absolutely agree, i just meant when King went in there he rebuilt their squad and they finished 7th at a club with far less ambition. Now he is at a club where he is able to attract better players, I personally can’t see it being an issue, I think he will put a good squad together.

A lot of players will leave, but to be honest I think that’s exactly what is required, it needed a fresh start, both manager & players

Agreed, I think the main thing he's going to be looking for is probably more players that want to move up the leagues. Massive culture shock for the current squad who have had a manager that took a real laid back attitude with the players.

There's plenty of games where we scored 0 or 1 towards the end of the season where we realistically should have been scoring 3 or 4 goals.

I'm really excited for this season, I genuinely think Kingy is the man to take us up. How many of the players will share that same desire I'm not sure, but I can see the squad looking much different come August.

As a Hinckley supporter who got down to the occasional Barwell game, I’m still unsure if it’s a case where the relatively low pressure expectations helped him a bit, whether he can recruit the youth to achieve a promotion challenge and deal with the much higher objectives of Coalville. Fantastic coach for Barwell but unsure if he’ll make the step up essentially.

To be honest I'm expecting our recruitment to improve. Kingy and Borrows contacts in theory should be more impressive than Stevo's.

I’m expecting bigger clubs to be more willing to loan us players with these 2 in charge.

Stevo had a terrible record of using the loans he did get.

Got a horrible feeling croydon will make the play offs and end up winning the thing.

:nono:

I see the 4 sides currently in the play off places in the Northern prem Mid division are all leicestershire clubs.

Harborough, Anstey, Hinckley LR and Loughborough.

With Quorn being 1 place below.

Well I was right Croydon made it into the last play off space and then proceded to beat Jersey (2nd) and then Knaphill (3rd), just had that feeling, should've whacked some dosh on it.

Thetford lost the semi-final last night. Tbf having heard what the suspended player did - I am happy to side with Daggers point of view.

Ended today with Newmarket winning comfortably.
