Normally these things are just a PL syndicated thing. Thrown out to whichever PL club wants to earn a few dollars....we haven't bothered I don't think since Hong  Kong 6 years or so ago. I always thought it a decent idea. 

 

Now we've and wiped ourselves off the face if the universe so far as global PL fans go, we go and volunteer. I still reckon they'll replace us with a newly promoted club

More like King Power want to shoe is off on their home and that's the reason we are going over? Well to Thailand anyway.

Millions. Appearance fee, broadcast, commercial, sponsorship, shirt sales, associated other events. They’re not gonna get out of bed for a few hundred k’s never mind go to far east Asia

I was thinking this. If you’re tournament organiser, honestly why would you want us there. Not only will we have a squad significantly weaker than everyone else involved, any appeal of seeing LCFC there goes with relegation.

I mean I’d hope the club wouldn’t be stupid enough to do this but clearly there are.

 

Given this, hopefully we get uninvited and replaced with a promoted side which would be a slap in the face that Top and the board deserve.
