Clubs a shambles and goes back to my point made in another thread about how opinions of staff used to matter at all levels. The club used to prioritise reduced travelling abroad to better manage fatigue of players and reduce the disruption to a preseason schedule. The more travelling, particularly abroad, changes in climate, diet and everything else that im has to be taken into account on these trips disrupts the workload and adaptations you are trying to get going into the new season. Par for the course we put business decisions ahead of being an actual football team.

Tbf our players have played this season as if they were suffering from jet-lag, so we won't notice any difference.

So we play in Singapore sun 30th July and we will be championship tv game following Sunday in U.K. 

 

at least this means they won’t have us playing the Friday night season opener !
