Just out of curiosity does anyone keep a record of yellow and red cards we have picked up this compared with other seasons?

If not is there a site where this information is available, thanks.

I suspect the lack of being bothered is reflected in fewer yellow cards

I haven’t looked this up but I’d bet we have the fewest yellows amongst the bottom 5 clubs

...we have been a passive side, in as much as we do not harangue referees or take part in the dark arts!!!

I would assume that "taking one for the team", would feature very heavily in those 58 yellows, we are not a dirty team.

Ah so 6 teams who are less 'bothered' than us, including the Premier League's top 2...

...unreal, goes to prove the bias in this league!!!

Liverpool should have had players booked but the referee ignores it. They take it in turns to foul and no one is pulled up for the accumulation.

Agreed, the big clubs are awful at the dark arts and surrounding the ref etc. Man City literally everytime they lose possession and a team trys breaking they just foul you. Incredible they haven't had more yellows

West Ham are a surprise given their poor form

teams near the top of the league don’t have the same need to collect yellows - we do - and we haven’t - which sums us up

To be fair to the top two (and to us), you don't have to make so many tackles when you're in possession of the ball.

Under Brendan, there's no need to launch into a tackle, or even run particularly quickly when you're passing the ball sideways and backwards.

A mitigating factor is that you can’t foul the opposition if you can’t get anywhere near them
