OK, I don't pretend to know too much about the whys and wherefores of what's happened at the top of your club but...

I went to a coaching workshop at the training ground last night and aside from the obvious quality of the facilities what came through loud and clear was the care and thought that goes into the wellbeing of the kids in the academy and the emerging talent group (essentially the kids who go and train there who have the chance to progress to the academy).

The whole philosophy of the kids training, individual development plans and even the support and aftercare of the kids who don't progress is great, the academy manager was talking about the U13/14 group that are going to a tournament in Holland at the weekend and how if they don't make it in the long run they've had the experience of a lifetime.

I know how much Leicester do in the local communities, under privileged areas etc and it's very impressive.

So in short, I know times are hard for you guys on the pitch (believe me I know what that's like right now!) but there's a lot to be proud of about your club 👍

Cheers. It's nice to be reminded that there are still elements of our club not being ran entirely shambolically. 👍

I hope the team wins on Sunday. Leicester has been a team to cheer for since the historic season 2015-16. That was truly spectacular and I've been a fan ever since.

Unfortunately if we get relegated all these positives may stop,  people will lose their jobs at both training grounds and the stadium..... I'm sure the nice extra added bonus roles you can afford when in the prem will be the first on the chopping block after the playing staff.

Such a sad state we could end up in.

I know this is glass half empty stuff but for all the reasons cited on here, across many different threads, I don’t think we have a club to be proud of at the moment.

The under 21’s being relegated this season doesn’t shout of an academy that’s producing good young players to bring through to the senior ranks.
Of course, I don’t know about the younger age groups and it’s great to get feedback that they are being nurtured.

But no, proud of LCFC isn’t something I’m feeling at the moment tbh

I'm not proud of the current team, or how the club has been run the last couple of years (on and off the pitch).

But I'm proud of what we have achieved recently, and accept that for most non-rich clubs, football is cyclical and you have to take the ups with the downs.

One statistic worth pondering ....

This Century, only 5 clubs have won all 3 major domestic honours:  Man Utd, Man City, Chelsea, Liverpool and us.    Not bad for a provincial club.

We absolutely have a great club, and thank you for the feedback.
The difference to where we were not so long ago is HUGE. There will always be ups and downs,  which make the journey more interesting, exciting and rewarding. Where’s the joy in winning all the time? This is LCFC, enjoy the ride today!!!

Always many sides to a story so thanks for the upbeat note but is this just a veneer. I also see academy things and there is a lot of criticism and players wanting to leave due to ‘poor coaching’. Facilities stand for nothing without leadership talent and that is where we seem to be failing across the club. In sport you are only good as your last performance. Newcastle was ugly but hopefully it may of set us up for another escape moment but we desperately need to dump all the coaching staff and bring in talent even as much as players.
