He'd do well playing off a big man but on his own as a striker neither skillful enough or quick enough.

The sentiment on the Potters forum is generally not great.  But then those threads generally aren't after a loss. Especially a loss to 10 men and missing a penalty.  If they don't have a new manager in place soon it might be worth trying to get him in somewhere else.

I'm thinking more that me might excel somewhere else than Leicester more so than ability!

Wouldn't say he's a "very poor" Matt Fryatt, he's probably around the same level. I like Cannon and I think he has some good qualities but he's not PL level.

Before we sell this guy to Sunderland or Sheff Utd, we really need to be asking ourselves if he is better than Daka? Better than Vardy (the Vardy right now, not Vardy ever).

And if for the money we have, can we bring anyone better in??

Right now, I think we’d all be delighted if we brought in a new young striker who has double figures in the Championship.

He’s not better than anything we have now, and I include edouard in that. I agree we shouldn’t be selling him but only because we’ll need a championship striker next season
