Hume in the inverted RB slot with Ricardo filling in as an 8 until Ndidi is back? He has done well when naturally pushing forward from deep this season.

I'd agree he wasn't great , but the whole side was pretty shite tbh.

Maybe he'll be good when he steps out onto the field and grow into the team.

How bad was he today? I didn't see the game.

Not that judgements should be made based on one game, but playing against an opposition a level above is often a decent shop window.

He was up against Gordon today wasn’t he?
 

No easy task given the form Gordon’s been in, even when Newcastle have been shite.

 

I’d also say - I don’t rate Beale as a manager and as such, I bet he hadn’t really incorporated any tactics to assist in nullifying Gordon’s threat.

Watched him just now playing Newcastle in the FA cup, big nope from me.

He was completely outclassed in the first half but I thought he started to play better in the second half. If we are interested it should only be as back up at most.
