I'm down the road in York but work in Leeds. Everyone is a Leeds fan here anyway. Going on the train with all my best mates then getting a lift back with my neighbour.

 

They're usually fine tbh. They used to be a lot worse and maybe I'll change my mind if we lose tomorrow!

 

I think they just have a minority who think they're the best team in the world after a few wins.

From my experience, most of the people I met in Canada were Liverpool fans. A lot of them weren't even into Football

I’ve lived and worked in leeds for nearly 30 years now. Got to say I love the city and have some friends who are passionate but reasonable leeds fans who enjoy a bit of banter about our 2 teams. But they do like to live in the past and go on about their former glories, or in the case of their ‘champions of Europe’ chant near (if not for a corrupt ref in 1970 something🙄) successes. This is the one we HAVE to win though 🤞 C’mon the foxes !!!!

Seriously though. In tough times, we all need something nice to look forward to. A holiday, a break away. An important social event.

 

Or the thought of one Monday morning in May, all your colleagues coming into work after Leeds slip up against Southampton and finish third, only to find a giant print out of Jamie Vardy surrounded by teammates and lifting the Championship trophy, while a bluetooth speaker plays the iconic sounds of Andrea Bocelli singing Nessun Dorma, but with random bits of LCFC goal commentary edited in.

 

Then, right as the peak of the iconic song hits, they look at their desks and realise something is strange. There's something left, right in the middle of the desk, waiting for them, as another voice clip hits, but it's not a very professional commentator, almost sounds like a fan, commentating on some long distant game, wait, did he say something about Leeds, dirty Leeds? And ....

 

They see what is on their desks. A new, fresh, unopened treat, just for them
