8pm on a Saturday night then. Absolute joke of a kick off time that. Any chance of a few away games on the box?

is that more likely than the 12.30 slot for some reason?

I think it’s 50/50 at the minute, Only if Arsenal are drawn away the game will move to 8pm, we won’t know until a few weeks before hand as the draw is not until the 31st of January!!!

I would like to think only two weeks prior to the fixture they would have started ticket sales.. which makes you wonder how many will buy and then not make it being 8pm

So it could be two weeks before the game that we know the confirmed kick-off time? How is this allowed?

Clubs are so spineless.

Am I correct in thinking that if Arsenal finish in the top 8 of the CL listings then they will not be involved in this knockout round (or in places 25-36, if only)

Correct if they finish top 8 they skip the knockouts

After 5 games played Arsenal are currently 7th with 10 points, 6 other teams also have 10 points,  one of them is Monaco who Arsenal have to play, they have to also play Dinamo Zagreb who have 7 points and finally Girona who currently have 3 points

I’m tempted to start sending Sky the bill for my hotel when they move games to late kick offs

I did for Blackburn away last year when they moved it to Friday night then Sunday midday. Think I ended up with some sort of voucher after sending small claims court summons. My argument being ‘subject to change’ was not appropriately defined, could they change the ko time one hour before advertised ko and lean on the ‘subject to change’ clause???

I don't mind the Friday/Saturday night slots, certainly beats Sunday afternoon or Monday evening.

Leaves Everton away as a Saturday 3pm as well.

That’s showing Monday 3 feb for me?? Real shame that as last time at Goodison

And on this article they've got Chelsea vs West Ham on Monday night:

That weekend will also see another edition of Monday Night Football with title-chasing Chelsea hosting West Ham in a London derby on February 3 at 8pm.

It's quite unlikely Arsenal moves to 8pm but it's an absolute joke that we won't know for sure until a fortnight before the game. Sums the priorities up again though I suppose.

Clubs are so spineless.

When they created the new league phase for the European competitions not only did it clash with the League Cup (which we all know how much they love) but it also means that clubs won't know when they can play their league fixtures right up until couple of weeks before.

More and more will have to give until the finally get what they want with a super league of some form.
