Isnt Trump hoping to change rules on how many times they can stay in office. Its set at two. Naturally been set that way to avoid dictatorship hence what we see in Russia. Makes you think surprised theres no limit on how many elections a prime minister can stand for. Imagine if this was Thatchers reign would have been a lot shorter.

Constitution is very clear on this. Would require a 2/3 majority in both houses of Congress, plus 38 states supporting the measure to pass an amendment. Won’t happen.

Fake news. Don’t think Trump has intention to run again, I think him picking Vance was him effectively priming a successor for whatever MAGA turns into post Trump

If Trump wins Russia will increase attacks on Eastern Ukraine and hope to annex it quickly to do a deal with Trump where they keep all annexed territory.

If Trump wins Israel will increase the pressure it is putting on Gaza and surrounding territory where they will shrink the territory of Gaza even further and annex more of the West Bank.

Trump wins Florida which is not a surprise.. BUT

That’s not a surprise. What might be a bit surprising – and concerning for Democrats – is that Trump holds a narrow lead in Osceola County, near the central Florida city of Orlando, with 85% reporting. Joe Biden won this county in 2020 by 14 points.

More than a third of the population of Osceola is Puerto Rican – a voting group that the Harris campaign has been hoping would decisively back the Democratic ticket after a comedian at a Trump rally made a derisive joke about the Caribbean island.

Also, Trump is leading by 11% in GA with 50% of votes counted.  Now that MIGHT mean nothing because they could be  predominantly      traditional republican counties..

Ugghh I feel sick.  Am I taking this too seriously?. Maybe. But I’m taking it very seriously because I feel like it’s a very serious election..

It is. Trump is winning what he is expected to win so far. It's all about that blue wall and Georgia. If she doesn't win there she is cooked.

Like 4 years ago, will be going to bed knowing Trump is likely to win.

When we wake in the morning, you hope that's not the case but then again I am Canadian so I don't care as much. Might be 4 years of some pain for us as trump doesn't like trudeau but we can work through it as we have an election next year and it will turn conservative.

I’ve woken up.

Its 2:21 AM in the UK.

I’ve just my AirPods in so I don’t wake my wife.

Opened the Sky News app to see what’s the latest update.

First thing I see is a press conference which has a woman “thanking the dogs, the great dogs”.

Captivating TV this …..

so a little bit of vulnerability here… I haven’t made that many friends in the states because.. I feel quite different. this is one of the places I get to talk to people who are somewhat similar to me.. but this place has gotten to me quite a bit  recently. It’s become quite a hateful place, even if that hate is for the right reasons, if that makes sense? I just don’t think that much hate is healthy for me or for anyone.  I really hope this place chills out a bit, no matter who wins, I kind of need it to or a might have to look elsewhere for my equilibrium rebalances.

Keep strong mate. No matter what happens, even if trump wins  it's over in 4 years. I don't think maga will continue after he is done. I feel like once they can get rid of trump they might come more to the center. Of course, you can see why they might not but trump is very polarizing and a lot of republicans brown nose him. They won't have to in 4 years. Wishful thinking lol.

Any quotes I’m getting are from the BBC btw…

We’ve got another batch of exit poll data, shedding light on the divide between men and women in this election.

Not surprisingly, a majority of women are backing Kamala Harris, while men are giving their support to Donald Trump.

What is a bit surprising, at least according to these findings, is that the 54% of women voting for Harris doesn’t match the 57% that backed Joe Biden in 2020.

Exit poll results often shift as the hours tick by and should be seen as general guide and not a detailed map, but if Democrats have lost ground with women voters compared to four years ago, it would be extremely concerning for the Harris camp.

I’ve seen some negativity  a few times with regards to the Harris vote.. I’m not yet seeing any negativity with regards to  the Trump votes..
