Because it’s a Sunday I’ve got no choice but to drive up. Where’s the best place to park ?

I normally park at The Quays by Media City - shopping centre or around there in a public car park. Just over the canal so @15 min walk but can grab some decent food beforehand. Not bad to get away from either.

Kings Road and Great Stone Road have always been good for free on street parking. Decent getaway aswell. About 15-20 mins walk.

Just a heads up to those driving up....

Be aware of parking along that long straight road leading to the Sir Alex Ferguson Stand, the road where many cars park up on the pavement.

Last game I saw cars on there, as they do every game I've been to at OT, and pulled on there myself but it just didn't feel right and even crossed my mind if you need a permit, etc so I left for my normal area I park at.

After the game every single vehicle had a parking ticket, nearly all were Man U fans who I guess have parked there before but were targeted this time.

Must've been 40 odd cars with tickets on.

That'll cover Manchester Police Xmas party.

Are there any good places to eat around there?

Are the car parks around there limited timing? How much is it? Aiming o get there about 12 just so I can chill and not rush.

Edit - Actually, I've found the details. Seems a good shout.
