When we “played” we more than matched Bournemouth. The better team for most of the first. Why do we have to always go into our shell? Given it happened immediately after half time, surely its manager led. Even on the few occasions we did attack in that second, we looked decent. 
 

I don’t think he trust himself or his players. Which is disappointing.

That was majestic, in the same way as watching a beached whale try to mate is. Ugly, messy, but compelling to watch and we still get the happy ending. 🐳

We had to win and we got the job done by the skin of our teeth. But let's not pretend that wasn't an awful game of football from both teams. I wouldn't even argue we were less shite than them, they hit the post twice and one ruled out. We are a team of eleven players running around the pitch with no real gameplan and no real guidance.

Why Cooper let's the players run themselves into the ground I will never understand. Subs were needed by the 60th minute. Fatawu and Ricky not starting is nothing short of a disgrace.

 

It's interesting watching the players body language when they are recieving instructions from the technical area, it's arms out to the side and they are almost arguing back. Nobody understands what they want. 

 

Much needed 3 points, but I have never hated a manager as much as I hate Cooper.

Three winnable league games coming up, which presumably makes the majority of this forum even more miserable, especially of the back of us winning this game.

I’m delighted we won, long over due. I’m just not going to pretend it was a good 2nd half performance. Coopers tactics and subs 2nd half were shocking hence my comment.

Played some nice stuff first half, could definitely see some patterns of play. Second half wasn't good but hopefully that first win will give everyone some belief. Faes was immense today

It was great to see us actually going for it in the first half and it showed we can compete well with midtable sides like Bournemouth as I did think we were the better side going in at half time and deserved to be winning

 

Can’t be doing with this shutting up shop completely in the 2nd half like we did today (and against Palace)
 

We mustered up a wopping 1 shot in the 2nd half

 

It was from 25 yards by Fatawu in the 87th minute and blocked 

 

Another day we get punished for it (like against Palace) especially as we were still giving up good chances to them

 

Another game where we have seen that Cooper needs to react quicker

Second half was cowardly, a safety first approach. Hopefully a win will breed confidence and we can try both halves soon!

Cooper really has a loser mentality. Home against Bournemouth. Trying to hold on to 1-0 for dear life the entire second half. Miles apart from Maresca in this regard.

A win is a win is a win. 

 

I'd much rather win when we don't deserve to than to lose when we do.

 

That handball was nailed on and on another day, Vardy would have netted. 

 

What I saw was eleven players giving their all and fighting for everything. Despite popular opinion, I thought Cooper's in game management was actually pretty good today. We played for 90 minutes instead of 10. 

 

Compare this to the last half of Rodgers final season.  

 

The other results went for us massively and if we can 'fluke' a couple more results in our next three or four fixtures, we'll be looking good.

Typical FT we win and people still moan. Ffs we got 3pts guys I ain’t bothered about what style we play and how we play as long as the pts are in the board and we Finnish above 18th this season I couldn’t care less.

Fair point, lots on here have already made their mind up about Cooper so a scrappy win at home against Bournemouth ain't changing that

When comparing Maresca, can we at least go like for like? Like the two games we were leading against Ipswich and the 2 Leeds games?
