I've PMed Mark, I've even sent him an Email. He has never replied. I have PMed other Admins and they have replied as is the decent way to treat another person. But they have said the same thing 'this is Mark's site he makes the rules'.

I would be happy to let it go because I just want to be able to post here without walking on invisible eggshells. 

 

If there was an alternative I would leave. But there is only the prehistoric talking balls and Bentley's Roof, neither are particularly appealing. I'm sure there are LCFC social media pages on places like Facebook and Reddit but they aren't structured to foster community. 

 

A by product of this behaviour is I haven't felt so keen on connecting more emotionally with anyone so I'm less inclined to attempt to be supportive or really put any effort. 

 

 

You could always ...

1. Set yourself up with a new Email address (that doesn't look anything like your original one).

2. Use a VPN (so your IP Address is different from the one you've been using previously ie so can't correlate IP vs userid)

3. Set yourself up a new userid  (not "LiberalFox_2") 

4. And stop posting the sort of stuff you've been banned for!

Anyway enough of this, I was only half joking. I think it's a lot easier to sit behind a computer screen and make people's messages disappear and feel all powerful but if you're politely asked why you are behaving so anti socially towards fellow foxes fans face to face maybe you wouldn't do it so readily. 

 

But I don't want to derail the thread. 

 

I guess I could invite all the people who had a problem with Dawn Butler and I could explain to them why having grown up in South East London during the 90s I think I have some relevant perspective. That I'm not looking to make people feel stupid or calling them racists but that I think the radical right plays on prejudices and fears of people who probably don't have a cosmopolitan upbringing. Not that the matter of an interpretation of poetry is relevant itself but we as a society need to rediscover how to discuss issues without rushing to the worst possible interpretation all the time.
