My understanding is that there are different types of safe standing there. So I guess the club will be looking to get feedback from these sessions as well as show it to those that maybe wouldn't be in the area where it will be used in the next couple of games.

Different types?  I'd be amazed if we dont just do the usual rail in front of existing seats.

We may well do, but one of the "prototypes" is the metal seating

Yeah, i hope the fans go with that, it'll be a first for the premier league, and a much better way IMO.

It’s coming!

With the publication by LCFC of the minutes of the Fans Advisory Board meeting on 16 October 2024 we can now let you have more information about the plans that aim to have safe standing at the King Power Stadium for the start of the 2025/26 season.

Safe Standing at the King Power Stadium – Foxes Trust

Probably too late to say this but only just seen it... please please please for anyone associated or given an opportunity to voice an opinion, choose option 1!!!

Is this another sign Top ain't fvcking about?

No, two parts

Cynically it's an easy win for the club to put this in and say this is a sign of fan engagement. Secondarily its cos the local SAG have been moaning for sometime now about standing in seating areas.

No I believe just a few rows to show the different types of rail/integrated seats options they're looking at.

I'm gutted that I won't be able to view this as I'm away.

Spot on the exercise is to look at the variants and provide feedback to the club so they understand which version is preferred. Location is a separate question I believe.

What’s so special about ‘metal seating’?

Will it cold, meaning I have to take a blanket as well as my flask in winter?

It locks into place and there's less risk of injury when celebrating. My legs are forever getting cut on the plastic seat fittings!
