I bet his name hasn't even come across our scouting teams' desk. Not one person at that club has thought of googling "players out of contract in the summer." Lol.

He's also a Dutch U21 international, so could be known to RVN from his time with the national team.

JimJams Posted 27 December 2024 Posted 27 December 2024 Is he any good. I know he scored against us last year, but I haven't really seen much of him.

Parker Pen Posted 28 December 2024 Posted 28 December 2024 Callum Britain from Blackburn was decent against us last season.
wardyfox86 Posted 28 December 2024 Posted 28 December 2024 Ransford Konigsdorffer Nicolo Tresoldi Pascal Klemens Finn Jeltsch Marton Dardai All in Germany's 2nd Tier, for the future but could do a job now.

I've been researching this division recently. There's plenty of promising players. 1
JimJams Posted 28 December 2024 Posted 28 December 2024 Surely German 2nd tier to Premier League are different planets.

Ligue 2 players have done well for us in the past and that's an even bigger jump. Japanese league players do well frequently coming over to europe, which is a comparable jump.

Right but Wardy named 5. Do we think over 25% of the Bundesliga 2's rightbacks could all make the step up to the premier league? From the top to bottom of the Bundesliga there's a massive drop in quality alone. If there's a standout player, cool, obviously that happens and if you can identify those players then great, but over a quarter of Germanys second division rightbacks being ready to step up to a Premier League side? I'd imagine they'd largely struggle at Championship level given our second tier is well above theirs. I guess what I'm saying is PICK ONE WARDY!!!!

Fair enough, I hadn't see the thread title - none of the players he listed are right backs, at least naturally. Klemens is a player for sure though, has played at RB on occasion - more of a DM though. I follow Hertha, I'd say him, Dardai and Maza are the standouts. Cuisance as an 8 wouldn't be the worst option - very underrated player imo. They have a hell of a DM coming through though their B team - Boris Lum. One to watch - local boy though, so might be hard to pry away.
KFS Posted 29 December 2024 Posted 29 December 2024 Just gone through the highlights and I can count 28 goals that are Justin’s direct fault or heavily involved 1

honeybradger Posted 30 December 2024 Posted 30 December 2024 (edited) Cheick Konate at Clermont foot in Ligue 2. Could be worth a punt on the cheap, seemed to hold his own against world class players like Mbappe and Nuno Mendes in the video but he's a bit short. Edited 31 December 2024 by honeybradger 2
