NO IT'S NOT - WHICH IS THE ENTIRE REASON FOR WHY LEE and YOU ARE MAKING the WRONG ASSUMPTIONS.  It was NEVER intended to be 'ACCURATE' for a 'person'-eye-view.  THAT is the mistake you both make, from the outset, which makes everything else completely moot.

Again, arguing on behalf of your own asumptions is also going to cause problems purely for yourself.

Adding a camera to a helmet GIVES A HELMET-EYE VIEW, not a 'person-eye view'.  But THIS IS ENTIRELY RECOGNISED AND UNDERSTOOD in pretty much ALL sports which use it.  The fact that you and Lee do NOT, is YOUR PROBLEM, not anyone else's.

I've seen a lot of US sports broadcast which specifically mention it being a helmet cam, not a 'person'-cam, for this very reason.

Again, helmet cams are very common and well understood for what they are.  If YOU don't understand what they are, and the ramificaitons of that, then that's on you. If you don't like them, then I think the broadcasting world has already shown it doesn't care what you think.

Respectfully I disagree. A helmet cam is called that because the camera is fixed to the helmet. Nothing more. It's not meant to give you the helmet's eye view FFS!

They're meant to give you the sports-persons perspective of what's going on from their personal vantage point. If they didn't want that drivers POV in F1 then they have the roll hoop camera a few inches above their head to give that cockpit perspective.

And P.S. - STOP SHOUTING. Just because you think you know what everyone else wants, including the broadcasters, it doesn't make it so.

I'd image as seeing as the broadcasters persist with it suggest they like it.  I don't mind it, same as when it's on the batters helmet in cricket, just a different angle to see occasionally when some perspective on the cack view the drivers have in the car is required.

Will the 2 stops make a difference this weekend or are teams going to find ways to cope with it ?

Hopefully won’t be any VSC or SC to basically allow all teams do a free stop .

I hope so, the Race podcast sounded out some interesting theories as to whether any will dive into the pits at the end of the first lap to get one out of the way.

Also anyone gambling on a late change being penalised if there's a red flag and they don't get to do the second stop.

I guess it's intriguing? Otherwise we all know Saturday is actually the most exciting part for who gets pole.

Wouldn't surprise me if a team pitted twice under an early safety car, then did the whole race on hards.

Norris just gets pole ahead of Leclerc with Hamilton recovering from his crash well .

Surely Alonso will get points ?

Yuki out qualified by both Racing Bulls.

Ouch !

Over 3 tenths between the two Ferraris on a track this short is too big a gap for me, should’ve done better.

Would just driving through the pit-lane count as one of your mandatory pit-stops? Or do you literally have to 'stop' in your pit-box?

Drivers will have to finish the race having used three different tyre compounds so will have to "properly" pit.

Got to use all 3 tyre types, so no it wouldn't count.

Absolutely pathetic decision to demote Hamilton when others avoided penalties for worse throughout

It actually looked a more dangerous maneuver for Hamilton to pull over to the right as Max passed the car before his.  Ridiculous decision.  Yes, a crap call by the Ferrari garage but even with the right call it wouldn't have made any difference in any case.

I can't see this mandatory two stop pit stop making any difference either.  The track needs to be pulled off the calendar or they need to shorten the length of the cars - the cars are too big for the circuit.

Later more likely .

Shame for Hamilton - will ruin his race .

Who could've predicted that the usual faces on FT would be annoyed Hamilton got penalised for an incident with Verstappen?

Not me, not me at all. 🙀🙀🙀

I think Lewis could shoot Max in the face and it'd somehow on here it'd be harsh to charge him with murder 😂😂😂
