Fancy Leclerc to keep 2nd tbh, can see lando ****ing the softs before taking him

Seems you might be right .

And Norris will probably get a penalty too

So it’ll be 40 points for Verstappen to get with 5 races and a sprint. So if he won every race, Piastri would need second in at least three of them to hold on. It’s not impossible.

Given Piastri’s form, Max will be ahead by Qatar

Does make you think are the papaya rules dead and they’re just going to pick a number 1 outright now

Big move for Norris getting that second place limiting the deficit to Verstappen who dominated .

And obviously gaining ground on a struggling Piastri.

Nice to see Hulkenberg get points after yesterday’s mishap .

Colapinto lol

I'm sure he'll get a proper telling off tonight by the team. He was instructed to hold positions because it was obvious Bortoleto was faster than Gasly. If Colapinto held his position Bortoleto wouldn't have been able to catch up and overtake Gasly.

They were 17th though I don’t think Sainz was catching up anytime soon

Yes Sainz was already out of the race but Colapinto's decision to overtake resulted to Gasly losing 2 positions instead of 1. This is why he was instructed to hold position and keep Bartoleto in the 19th position. I reckon though this is rocket science for Colapinto judging by his response "He's slow!! ". Yes lad he's slow and he'll end up 19th if you overtake, hold your position so the team does a 17th/18th instead of a 17th/19th.

Its inconsequential though, they’re miles behind in constructors so extremely unlikely it’ll go down to results to determine 9th so there really isn’t any reason to be pulling team orders for a 17th 18th finish.

True but these F1 teams and the people working behind the scenes have strict goals and targets. The "hold your positions" instruction wasn't made by just one person and they probably had a reason to say that.

I think they have to, but if your Zak and Norris is driving better but Piastri is ahead on Points who do you chose?

I don't think any number will be chosen until it's Norris in front or they have no choice and have to chose Piastri. They say that they don't have a number 1 but I think most already know it's Norris anyway.

I said about 4 races ago that Max was never in contention now, but I actually think he might do it, another race win and he'll probably be the favourite lol

It's obscene he still has a chance!

Fair play to him but my god how McLaren have almost fvcked this up.

Imagine if Max had a teammate as well who could take points off the McLarens.

Really hope Tsunoda is out of f1 at the end of this year. “He’s cute and small!” isn’t much of a reason to keep him in a seat. Now that the Red Bull is fast again, he should really be getting amongst it.

Piastri going full on Spurs here and at risk of finishing 3rd in a two horse race here.

Ideal session for Lando, but the first corner here can be utter carnage.

Norris has absolutely smashed the rest of the drivers out the park there.

Ferrari done well too but knowing them they'll both crash into each other on turn 1 tomorrow lol
