If you tried hard enough, I’m sure anything could have a tenuous connection to an aeronautical accident.

'Circling out of control' isn't exactly a reach.

That is pretty stupid, considering the legendary owner died in a helicopter crash.

“…or along those lines”.

I understand your point and I’m astutely aware of the sensitivity of the club’s history.
However, the intention behind the message was not to disrespect anyone or reference past tragedies—it was simply a metaphor to highlight the current state of the club. If we start dissecting every idea for potential offense, we’ll struggle to take any meaningful action. That said, whilst I don’t appreciate being coined stupid, I appreciate feedback and am happy to consider alternative suggestions that help convey the frustration of the fans effectively without causing unnecessary upset.  Feel free to contribute positively with your messaging suggestions too.

Cheers.

I apologize for the "stupid". Substitute it for "crude" or "tactless".  If I noticed how myopic it may have appeared, then many others would also. Wholly agree that the board needs to be cleansed, but Top is the one paying the bills and spends a hell of a lot of money on this club.

If you are serious about your endeavor, then make a banner with the message that would dissociate the Board from the Chairman. Focus on the Board.

Submit a DSAR request if you're worried about anything. A proper drain on the club having to produce them, and they're legally required to.

Yep..they must reply to every request within 30 days.   It's also FOC.

We literally have one of the top 5 training facilities in the world and yet have complete plonkers hiring inept staff to run it.

Get the f out, the lot of you.

I think the training ground is also part of the problem. I heard Albrighton say that they got treated too nicely and had a false sense of security. Players arrive here usually with something to prove in the game, and they see the training ground and they must think they’ve already made it. They’re being overpaid as well which doesn’t help. All leads to complacency imo.

nah that's absolute bollocks and just says there's not any standards or accountability for the players. No club is improved by having shitter training facilities.

Maybe. But interesting you’ve picked up on accountability. Clearly an issue with Rudkin and his dealings as well. So a culture of no accountability - just the ticket for success.

Why don't protest by all the fans chucking scotch eggs onto the pitch at a certain minute? Like other team in the past have , but not with scotch eggs

Maybe everyone get a clapper and at half time go pitch side and lob it onto the pitch?

Ian made.me laugh on When You're Smiling as he speaks of his frustration regards transfers, in his monologue you can hear is frustration and anger increase with every word, was utterly brilliant and worth a listen

You literally have zero evidence to back that up.

Seagrave might be useful as a luxury health resort, but to date its impact in terms of delivering improvements in team results and player fitness has been very limited.

The facility is absolutely world class, this is not the problem, the reason results and player fitness has not improved is down to the fact that the club is filling the place full

of mediocre talent.

Enzo proved the facility can deliver good results from a coaching, training and fitness standpoint.

The problem is the standard of the club have dropped off the edge of a cliff in recent years. Happy to accept failure and happy to indulge players such as Danny Ward, Hamza etc etc with large and lengthy contracts, there is no jeopardy for these players, just hang around stinking the joint out.

if we were serious about changing the mentality and resetting where we are as a club, we would move these clowns out and start again.

You ok?

Have you visited Seagrave?

It’s been widely regarded and commented on that the facility is world class.

the latter part is true tbf. That's not because the facilities aren't good, they're elite, but while the likes of Man City and Real Madrid wouldn't be made better from moving back to park pitches and dodging dog turds while training, the facilities alone don't make them elite clubs, it's because they've staffed those elite facilities with coaches and players to match, with a culture of improvement and accountability. We've not, because all the way to the top it's "are you mates with the owner, congrats, have a promotion".

the impact of the facilities has been limited because we need to drain the swamp, kick out those in the board, the coaching environment and the playing staff who treat it as a day spa for a laugh and go crying to Aiyawatt when asked to actually work for their exorbitant pay cheques, and build anew with a proper club culture. At that point, we'll see the benefit of them.

Couldn't agree more with you mate.
It's about those running the ship.  They're not running it, they're ruining it.
'Drain the swamp' - great line.

I could have a gym membership at David Lloyd’s but if I just sit in the hot tub and steam room I’m not gonna gain a six pack am I?

Such a stupid argument, it’s very obvious that comes down to training plans and pre-season programmes rather than the whereabouts you’re training at.

Seagrave is one of the best training facilities in the world it’s just not being utilised correctly.

£85 to go!

Surely security will shift your van... you need to think about this. (Don't publish the plan)

Sacking the board is the wrong line....  getting some competent directors is better.... the engagement guy and rudkin have to go.  Zero chance of top or Susan going anywhere while kp own the club
