Still not forgiven Pearson for that with Gradel.

It would be worth questioning him about that….. but then again, how do you tell a man who’s kicked seven bells of shit out of a pack of wild dogs he’s wrong?

I look at BDCR and I still can’t get my head round loaning Alves out despite lots of people on here saying he’s not ready. I’m not convinced a not ready Alves is any worse than our current options.

Would love a sit down with Nigel. Do a bottle of schnapps with him.

He’s been great in the opening 15. He’s so lively and positive

Commentators are very impressed with him

Nah big disagree.

Needs this consistent 60/90 minutes to find his feet rather than jumping into Prem football at a side who can't score and barely has the ball

Just makes you wonder what was going on with him for the first half of the season. I’m just glad he’s out now playing in a league we’ll be in next season.

Maybe he was told he'd compete for minutes by Enzo and then Cooper. Then was no where near any of it at all

Well you are wrong then. We had 48% possession of the ball yesterday. That’s pretty standard for us this season. We have a good share of the ball. We can’t score because Ruud doesn’t trust the creative players that can create and score opportunities, like Buonanotte, like Mavididi AND like Alves. There’s absolutely no reason why he can’t get the game time here other than a manager who has lost his bottle. Alves wouldn’t’ve made the situation any worse than this, what can be any worse than a record breaking 6 home losses with no goals?

Very good first half from Alves. Arguably man of the match so far.

Positives - Looks dangerous everytime he gets the ball, very positive always trying to make something happen. Can’t remember a time he lost the ball/was dispossessed.

Room to improve - off the ball defending, hasn’t really pressed the opposition or tracked back. This could be a tactical decision from the manager though.

Re-read what you've just written and tell me any part of it that would provide any sort of platform for a young pro to try and establish themselves at first team level. The entire club is toxic. He'd get 20 mins at a push, in a side bereft of confidence and lost for how to score.

Or you send him on loan, where he's becoming a central part of Cardiff's attacking line, getting consistent games and starting to produce output, whilst gaining confidence in his ability.
