I’m hoping the lad has enough this season think he’s on 40. Will be the end of 20 years in L1 for me if successful as I’ll have to relocate.

One thing I can get excited about this season.

Hoping to get both of my kids a ST, but should definitely have a good shot at one (50 & 17 points).

Well that’s my application in. Half hopeful. Won’t struggle getting tickets next year, it’s just the hassle of having to ring up every other week.

72 points my lad is on so have applied for him. have missed out the previous two seasons by 1 point on each occasion... surely less than 25 gets one this season?! the interest is minimal. im die hard me

This time around is probably best chance of getting one as a member.  Possible high amount of non-renewals, lack of interest from some members after a terrible season.  If we do well next season interest will probably grow for season after.  But the thing is with matchday prices as they are, i wont and i imagine many more wont, accrue many more points to catch up with some, if they are charging 50 odd quid a game to watch distinctly average teams in the Championship

Will be interesting to see how many points gets you a ST this year.

Without a doubt it’ll be the lowest threshold in the last 7/8 years.

On one hand, the general consensus on here is that there feels to be (in my opinion) a 65:35 ratio as to who’s renewing against who isn’t. That means roughly 8,000 new ST holders next season. I doubt that many members will even apply. So possibly even a chance of general sale.

On the other hand, I feel there are many people not on here who are more of a happy clapper type. The “I’ve had it for 20 years and would never ever give it up” type. And the threshold may be the same as normal…

Impossible to tell…

I do wonder tho;

1. How many ST holders are actively on here

2. The exact number of members we have… some say around 10,000 but that does seem to be quite a small number given most games have an attendance of 31,000 (before we got even shitter then we were under Coops and lost all hope)

Applied for my lad, on 30 points. Didn’t think he’d have a shot but sounds like it might not be completely out of the question 🙏🏻

i suspect that number that renew will be higher, there would have been a lot that said they were going to not but will have.

I think someone said it was around 20k mark had renewed.

I’ve applied again this year for my daughter, she is on 43 points.

Both me & my husband are season ticket holders but to be honest I’ve never had a problem getting her a ticket near to us on the second priority.

Everybody I know who has a season ticket has renewed

Would be very surprised if 8000 don’t renew. Would have it inbetween 3-5k.

Someone said on the other thread that Jim said 20k renewed.

There were 22.5k STHs last season, so that's 2500 new STs made available this summer, and 90% renewal rate.

For context last season (post promotion), there were 500 new STs available, and 98% renewal rate.

The 10k member figure is from how many members applied for a ST in the ballot a few years ago, so the true number of members is probably 15-20k, if you include those who didn't apply.

16th May I believe.

Tickets go on sale that day for successful applicants so I will imagine it will be a few days before that

What's the minimum priority points that will do it? as a friend of mine wants to come along to games next season

The club will announce it.

If your friend wants to go to names next season, there won’t be any issues getting tickets.

Yeah I was assuming it wouldn't be to hard for tickets like the previous championship season. Think he's on 30-40 odd I did say that wasn't normally enough in the previous years.

Bollux!

I totally missed the deadline to apply for my son, he has 50+ points too.

I only saw the emails today. So annoyed!

Though I might be doing him a favour!!😬
