No wonder we've ended up in such a mess, they started off an embarrassment, and still are to this day.

They've been investigated for corruption, we've paid out for breaking FFP previously, now it's a yearly occurrence.

Remember Trestellar?

King Power Out.

I’ve done this on an online auction myself, easily done tbf.

Unity is impossible to achieve with 30,000+ people, even for the lesser number of active Foxestalkers (I wonder how many that number is??) it’s an almost impossible task.

A good proportion is all that can be achieved. If we try to get “vast majority” or “unity” then good becomes the enemy of perfect and inertia will prevail

I appreciate what you're saying. I don't expect everyone to jump on board. But what we can't have is massive opposition, as it really weakens our position. Silence and a few grumbles from the fans stands us in a much better position than it being widely booed.

Top basically can't just dismiss it as an angry minority if there isn't evidence of widely adopted opposition to the banner in the stands.

If he wanted to leave, why didn't he just leave?

Convinced / asked to stay.

I take back my comment that I'd be 'amazed' if he stayed to be honest. Could easily be convinced again if it's happened once already.

If what I heard is correct, I just imagine he'll be trying to manoeuvre a way out again this summer.

I think the issue is partly that he's incompetent, but partly also that he's got one foot out the door. Hardly motivated to work hard for the future of the club. New contract, Vesty? Yeah, why not pal.

If we get the message right, hopefully it's enough to convince Top to let him go this time.

I'm not ITK or claiming to be by the way. I just have a mate who's Dad used to be senior at the club and the Rudkin summer thing is something he mentioned in passing a few months ago. As with any rumour, who knows how true it is.

Sack the Board is the right one.:scarf:

Focuses the ire on the two places it's currently most deserved - Rudkin and Whelan. But it puts pressure on Top as well without directly telling him to sell up.

Personally I am now firmly in the camp of thinking the club needs selling, but I'm also a pragmatist. King Power Out runs too great a risk of backfiring if you go directly for it while the KPFC types are still attending games. But Sack The Board can also be interpreted to mean that if you read between the lines too.

Oh, and there's a chant for it too. Love the idea of thousands of us singing Sack The Board while the plane goes over - media will pick up on that.

King Power clueless, sack the board      or the original option for me

If JR is targeted personally again, it's a cheap jibe, we need to show a bit more class than that exhibited on the van for positive external coverage.

When I donated on page one of this thread, I assumed it was just a matter of raising the required funds.  I did not expect 27 pages of argument about the wording of the banner but since it has descended to that,  someone please put up all the options for a vote and everyone agree to stand by the outcome!

I know I’m going on like a broken record but it’s ridiculous for us to keep separating our directors from Top.

Our directors were put in place to rubber stamp King Power’s decisions and represent King Power.

Does anyone really think Rudkin is there to truly advise Top and possibly challenge his decisions? He’s there to do what Top tells him and run his errands. He’s not involved with King Power Racing because he’s some sort of savant with ponies.

I don't think people realise how much of a piece of work Top is. The only board member that speaks to him directly is Rudkin, the rest of the staff have to go through his PA to even contact him.

He has direct lines with players, who he goes to ahead of the manager often. He doesn't care about the city, and spends no time here. It's a very toxic situation and the only way to recover this is if King Power go.

Whatever king power have done for the club in the past doesnt mean they'll secure our future. We need new ownership. Rudkin being a problem is a product of Top being incompetent.

I assume this is just your opinion, or do you have evidence to back up your post.

I'm not looking for an argument my friend, but your first two paragraphs are quite damning, and have a mild "ITK" esq feel to them.

(No, I'm not saying your are an ITK)

Interesting post… Is it based on direct knowledge / whispers / rumours?? I’d love to know!

I'm also curious to know whether this is based on inside knowledge or educated guesswork...

How about some educated guesswork of your own? :P

Everyone with any inside knowledge has said the same thing. And there are glaringly obvious signs to support this wherever you look at the club.

Theres no way of knowing this would be the case tbf

It's the same as sacking Ranieri. The club and fans were branded as ungrateful. And we've won an FA Cup under KP since then too.

One of my favourite King Power myths, this.

We had literally just lost in the play-off semi-final when they bought the club. We were a penalty shoot out and 90 minutes at Wembley away from the Premier League!

KPFC seem to talk like we were bought by King Power when Mandaric bought the club and it was on its knees.

It wasn’t. It was on an upwards trajectory.

An upward trajectory for a club like Leicester does not mean they go on to win the Premier League, FA Cup, and reach the quarters of the Champions League and have 3 seasons in Europe.

I've heard we're the most difficult club Adidas deal with. Top known to swoop in and veto plans at the 11th hour, wasting months of work.

It's only the kit but paints a picture.

Thanks for the clarification.

It's certainly interesting, and gives some hope for the end of this season.

There's too many of these little stories floating around for them all to be wrong. They're anecdotal of course but like I say they're too numerous for them not to be right.
