Appears Ricardo was subbed off at Wolves due to a muscle injury, 

 

Its been a pleasure but I think its time we parted ways in the summer, as fresh start for us and importantly for him!

 

Clearly since his big injury a few years back he's struggled to regain full fitness and factor in his wages being circa 50-60k a week.

 

Real likeable guy and would of been captain material moving forward but we just cant do it anymore. We cant carry any players out of loyalty (Unless JV decided to stay).

This makes me sad because I absolutely love Ricardo. If he was guaranteed every other game to be fit he'd be worth staying. Unfortunately I think you're right it's time to say bye as he's never fit enough to participate:(

Much like the likes of Ndidi, Soumare and Vesty…no one will pay money to sign him.

Muscle Injury is vague and can be major or minor. Perhaps best to wait for more in depth news before we kick him under the bus  

 

Although do agree he has been injury prone in the last few years, however he is my favorite player so he gets a pass from me

It all depends on whether the player would be willing to accept a drop in wages in order to move on and try to re-ignite their careers. It's probably more palatable for those like Ricardo, Coady, Winks, Soumare and Daka who have only one year remaining on their current contracts. But we might be stuck with Ndidi and Vestergaard for another year at least.

He's not going anywhere. He's on big wages and is the wrong side of 30 with a terrible injury record. I suspect he's probably going to be club captain next season too.

If he stays we should probably just use him in the mid. But we should absolutely let him go if the opportunity presents itself.

Feel for him and he's been unlucky, but should've been let go years ago now.

Vesty yes, but Wilfs value is low now so someone in La Liga will offer him a contract. Soumare will leave for either a small fee or we will loan him to get his wages gone for the final year... but yes, Vesty is here for life.

 

With regards to Riccy, it's time he left too. Too many injuries, when fit he's unbelievable but it's at the point now where it's hampering us having a squad place not being utilised and at a higher salary

Personally don’t think we would have made automatic promotion without him last time out. This year is going to harder, we need him for whatever we can get out of him. 

 

Certainly one of the last I’d be looking to get out the club

Id keep Ricardo over JV.

 

Unfortunately,  JV offers absolutely nothing anymore, Ricardo is still a great player when fit.

Its ridiculous we got to the point of offering him an extension previously - should of gone years ago.
