Not handball, he's got no control over that at all. Its a poor touch and bounces up but the arm is in a normal position. Commentators unsurprisingly biased.

I'm guessing you missed the second part mate lol

At Anfield it's a weird thing to bottle.

I think it was just pure amateur hour moment.

Didn't check it properly saw the first bit and gave it a pass stamp.  Shambolic.

It’s the second bit where he slaps the ball away

Yea, fair. Skygo runs a bit behind and hadn't seen the reverse angle. The whole intentional stuff and whether you've got time to react (assuming because it's from such close range that VAR aren't considering that movement to be a deliberate reaction rather than normal arm movement?) is the big problem with the handball rule. Not sure how it ends with a bournemouth freekick either, surely it's a drop ball if the ref stopped play because of it?

Idk what you're all about re the handball. Are you watching a different game? Ref whistled for a foul incident BEFORE the handball and this is why VAR couldn't get involved.

The whistle came after the handball. Not sure what he gave it for the other way either

The timing doesn't matter. Ref clearly pointed that he whistled for the earlier foul incident against Liverpool. I don't even know why there's a debate. There was a foul committed before the handball.

Racist abuse towards Semenyo? From Liverpool fans? But they're such a nice, likeable bunch. Great sense of humour and all that.

Was fairly obvious what had happened when he came over and spoke to both managers, then Semenyo got a bit of attention from Iraola, especially after he won the ball and blatantly got fouled moments before. Not quite a broken headset Peter Drury lol

Am I right in remembering that a similar announcement was made at the KP a few years ago?

The tannoy said "Standby Operation Anfield Exercise"... i'm sure I remember something like that.

Usually means a fire alarm has gone off somewhere.

Something to do with the bloke in the wheelchair when it looked like they were saying something to Semenyo?

Went back to the incident around 25 mins.

The fan seemed to be really animated towards Semenyo.
