The irony is, Kevon Gray is an extremely talented centre half who's already impressed the senior team coaches. Aluko is already England U20s and on the cusp of the 1st team and not responsible obviously for a few of these collapses but it's a little odd.

Hutchinson 8 goals 2 assists in 6 games

Evans 5 goals 1 assist in 7 games

That’s two strikers in great form this season  for the academy. A position the first team are essentially playing without so far.

They're doing all can be asked of them. Over to the club to execute action over a load of piss and wind.

If Nelson can’t even get on the bench I wont hold my breath

You never know, maybe it will be 106th time lucky and Daka will finally look like a professional football tonight

Can't give up on someone after only 105 chances, don't want to be rash

I’ve just seen the U17 World Cup is on throughout November.

3rd to 27th -

Are we likely to lose any players for this?

Monga? Evans?

Monga has outgrown the U17s and is currently playing U19s, maybe they'll try and select players who've stepped up groups but most won't have 1st team football responsibilities. Page plays U20s and Evans bizarrely has had no England recognition in the last few years.

**** Carranza off and put Evans on the bench

With Bobby Reid likely out for a few weeks, i'd hope Evans got his spot but it'll be Kristiansen 😂

Honestly in terms of priority it should be (sadly) daka to start with either Ayew or Evans coming off the bench.

Our Under-21s were beaten 4-3 by Charlton Athletic in the Premier League Cup at LCFC Training Ground on Friday night.
The young Foxes, returning to action following the international break, led 3-0 in Seagrave before the Addicks produced an extraordinary comeback during the final 20 minutes to claim all three group-stage points, just weeks after we had ourselves come from three goals down to draw with Blackburn Rovers.
Bobby Amartey got the scoring started for City 10 minutes before half-time and it only took Jake Evans 11 second-half minutes to double our advantage.

The 17-year-old then fired in another to complete his brace and looked to have put Leicester out of sight, but the visitors had other ideas.
Ethan Brown pulled one back almost immediately and Patrick Casey soon added a second to give the south Londoners hope of getting something out of the game.
Emmanuel Sol-Loza then equalised, but it would get even better for the away side, who won a late penalty, converted by Henry Rylah in the 87th-minute.

We remain fourth in PL Cup Group C, yet to get off the mark, and it's Ipswich Town heading to Seagrave on matchday three in the competition, on Friday 21 November. Up next in Premier League 2, meanwhile, it's Southampton at home on Saturday 25 October (1pm BST kick-off).
The details...
City: Donohue, Aluko (R. Donnelly 62'), Amartey, Gray, Ali; Motsi, Page (Akolbire 62'); Richards (Otchere 74'), Golding (Omobolaji 75'), Briggs; Evans.
Unused sub: Marson.
Goals: Amartey 36', Evans 56', 66'.
