It's sad to see again the wording others use for people who have genuine concerns about this. "Tin foil", "Conspiracy theorists" etc. So if someone disagrees with your narrative and opinions is automatically a lunatic. 

It's really sad you don't even want to listen and have a proper discussion about it without calling names. 

Anyway, this plan for Digital ID won't go through. I stand a better chance winning the Euromillions than this one getting implemented in the future. 

A digital ID will never go into my phone which I use strictly for what it is: Make and receive phone calls whenever I want.

People moaning about digital ID cards are  moaning about it on social media that track, take your data and sell it on to the highest bidder. 

Signing an online petition (that asks for your details ) is just the cherry on the cake. 

 

If this was 20 / 30 years ago then I would be totally against it but Christ we are in a 'online' world that tracks your every move.

Who told you every single of us is on social media and especially the abomination called Facebook? When you create an account there you accept certain T&Cs. Afaik nobody came to me so far to force me to create a Facebook account or other social media accounts. Your argument is irrelevant by default.
