Popular Post fazzyfox Posted 2 May Popular Post Posted 2 May Braybrooke is hopefully a bigger part of our future than Winks will be, hopefully he’s given the encouragement to step up from day 1. I don’t know if he’s played all that much with Page due to loans and injuries but hopefully they are both given their chance maybe in a 3 with Skipp? 8

Yeah he is looking decent today and always looks to want the ball. He reminds me of Harry Winks (not attitude wise!!) but he also looks to get stuck into challenges. q with 50-60 games next season, he is going to have to play a fair few games 1
martyn Posted 2 May Posted 2 May Tuned in at the wrong time to watch Braybrooke, he's having a shocker of a 2nd half so far.

Rubbersoul Posted 2 May Posted 2 May Alves getting some good praise from Huddersfield fans on twitter. Even they’re not sure why he’s hardly played. I guess we won’t know the full details. Surely has to be involved next season? 1

Merchant_Banker Posted 2 May Posted 2 May Cartwright just scored for Falkirk. Came on in the 62nd, scored in the 63rd minute. 😀 1

Merchant_Banker Posted 2 May Posted 2 May Cartwright and Braybrooke starting next season, if Cartwright stays, looks like he is out of contract
LCFCJohn Posted 2 May Posted 2 May Braybrooke only has a year on his contract come this summer. If Chesterfield win the playoffs and come up the L1, might they poach him from us? It’s a concern… 3

I know everyone is downbeat about us right now, but we are ginormous in comparison. Unless this is a whoosh moment? 1

I’ve been to Seagrave quite a few times now, it’s an absolutely phenomenal facility, I can’t imagine they have anything better than Belvoir Drive. I would also imagine we are planning on building a team around him.

Braybrooke will be playing for us next season irrespective of whether Chesterfield go up or stay down.

Monga and Nelson will go. I do think we can keep the others. It was just a thought. If you’re Chesterfield, why wouldn’t you try? I’m not saying he would.

LCFCJohn Posted 2 May Posted 2 May Just now, ClaphamFox said: Yeah I’ll give you Nelson. Chesterfield can push as hard for Braybrooke as they want—they won’t have the money for him. Problem is, we have spent too much time giving out contracts to crap like Choudhury and Vestergaard and neglected the youth lads. Braybrooke as with Nelson is out of contract next summer. We need to extend. Nelson the ship has sailed. Page I know did recently. I’m not sure on Aluko without looking. If we can build around Aluko at rb, Page and Braybrooke as well, that’ll be a good start. The others I’m not sure how ready they will be to start on the first game but hopefully can be quickly integrated (Evans, Joseph etc). 1

I said once we are in the same league if they come up, they would likely try. Barnes and KDH didn’t want to leave did they? They got pushed because of our financial position. Obviously they moved upwards so not the same.

Barnes went Newcastle, KDH went Chelsea both probably double their money and went to club chase CL football. I know it bad, but he's not going Chesterfield in a permanent 1

I’m pleased he’s finally taking time out. Huddersfield should part company in the summer unless he and his family have really had time to work through things.

It won’t matter if offers come in and he needs moving on to pay Vestergaard’s wages. We likely keep him on the basis that moves that would be upwards, Championship clubs, may not be on the table.
